-Asher wasn't supposed to be the first male lead. Theron was, haha
-The head knight, Aldren, was supposed to be an antagonist, but then I realized that wouldn't work, and he was just there to add tension. He later on became a more supporting character who'll be helpful to Lydia later
-The kids also weren't supposed to be important characters lasting as long as they did, but I ended up loving them. So they stayed.
-Marcus was supposed to wield magic, but when I created the mysterious guy with green eyes and he sounded like a better fit. (AKA Launt)
-Tharbek didn't exist until I was talking to my sister about how this'll be a trilogy and incorporated him into it. He'll be revealed in the second book
-Sebatian will be introduced sooner in the edits of this book. Along with more interactions between Lydia and other characters.
