Chapter 5: Gabriella

It's my first time! The first time that I will witness the nightlife everybody's talking about! I have to admit, but I am so excited.

Pero, hindi ko pa rin dapat kalimutan kung bakit ako pupunta ngayon dito. Gaby... does she always go to places like this? Alone?

Nakapagpark na si Ian, at naglalakad na kami papunta dun sa Bar & Club na pinupuntahan daw nila lagi. Sabi nila, malamang daw, nandoon si Gaby.

"Am I underdressed?" I asked Ian. Naka black v-neck long sleeves and pants lang kasi ako.

Tinitigan ako ni Ian, and he just shrugged, "They'll still notice you anyway..."

"Huh?" Ano daw? 'Di ko gets.

He held my hand and we went inside a building, pagpasok namin sobrang dilim, if it weren't for the dancing lights and spotlights on the DJ, it'll be like a blackout. Ang lakas ng din music, dumadagundong talaga, I can feel it in my chest. I tightened my grip on Ian's hand. Feeling ko kasi matatangay ako ng mga tao sa sobrang dami at sobrang wild nila.

Pagdating namin sa bar kung saan nagseserve ng drinks, napansin kong ang lalagkit ng tingin ng mga babae kay Ian. I noticed that I was still holding his hands, I immediately let go of his hands when I noticed some girls glaring at me. Baka isa yung mga girlfriends niya, mahirap na no!

Nakita ko na yung buong class dito, pakalat-kalat lang sila. Except for Basty though, nasa tabi ko lang si Basty. Hinahanap ko rin si Gaby... But I can't see her anywhere.

"Miss, someone gave this to you" sabi ng waiter sakin habang iniaabot sakin yung drink.

"Uhm... uhhh" I didn't know what was happening. Tiningnan ko si Basty and he responded, "Don't accept it"

"She's with me" he told the waiter, tapos kinuha ng waiter ulit yung drink at umalis.

"What was that?" I asked.

"Someone's trying to hit on you" Basty smiled and patted my head.

Well that was scary. I'm both flattered and scared at the same time. Pero nasaan na ba kasi si Gaby... at saka iniwan na rin ako bigla ni Ian! That jerk.

I saw Jet approaching us, "We saw her... well... you wouldn't want to see her in that condition"

"WHAT?" I shouted hysterically. Shouting wouldn't mean a thing in this place, so it doesn't matter at all.

"She's kind of... drunk and yea" Jet was full of hesitation. He wasn't looking directly at me.

"I'll go ready the car" Basty left me with Jet. Biglang nagring yung phone ni Jet, he checked on it and he looked agitated.

"C'mon" he grabbed my hand and hurried outside.

Pagdating sa parking lot, may nakita akong nagsasapakan. And I wasn't wrong, I blinked my eye several times just to be sure that it was Ian, and it was! It fking was. Pero hindi lang siya ang nakikipagbugbugan, someone else was helping him out. I didn't know him, but he looked like a pale fallen angel with devlish eyes. May sumenyas kay Jet, si Miko at Migs, na nandun daw si Gaby. Hinila niya ako papunta duon.

"W-wait! Di ba natin sila pipigilan?" I was pointing at Ian and his friend. Actually tig-isa na pala sila ng inaaway.

"Nah, andyan si David so... don't worry" he tugged my hand.

Kinakabahan talaga ako, at si Ian... may sugat na siya. "WAIT! PIGILAN NIYO SILA!"

Jet doesn't seem to mind my cry. So I got my hand back and ran towards the riot. "Stop!" I screamed. I saw Ian looked at me for a second, but then he got punched! "Nooo! Stop!" I ran closer to them but Miko grabbed me by the waist and carried me to where Migs is. Jet was on his way to help Ian and David.
