GABRIELLA LOUISE VENTURA
I cussed at the moment I woke up, cussed because I knew for sure that what happened last night was not a dream. I read our texts and I was embarrassed on how cunning I was. I have to get out of here. I quickly dialed Anais' number but ended the call because there was no sense in asking for her to rescue me. She'd probably ask Ian to come pick me up, Ian would be so fucking surprised and would force me to tell him what happened.
Sino ba sa mga kaklase ko ang tahimik? Hindi madaldal at walang pake....
Basty? Ah, but I have to rant, I don't think Basty is the right person for this situation.
I kept on thinking, thinking, thinking who... JET? JET! PERFECT. Walang ka-ano ano yung taong yun, pwede na yun! And he's not a stranger to things like this. I texted him and asked him to help me. He called after a few minutes and asked me what's wrong.
"I need your help, Jet" I whispered, hoping these walls are soundproof.
"With what exactly? I just woke up" he exhaled with his raspy voice.
"I'm at...I-I'm at David's right now" I closed my eyes because I was so embarrassed.
"The fuck? Anong ginagawa mo diyan? Don't tell me..."
"No! It's not what you think! Not exactly...I guess... I don't know..."
"Uh-huh" he laughed.
"Just come here and pick me up please!"
"Open your GPS, I'll try to locate you. You owe me some storytelling" he laughed.
"Yeah okay. I'm in the same village with Ian's, so I guess you're near here, wag ka na magbreakfast, I'll treat you" I sighed.
"Nice! I'm on my way" he ended the call.
I stood up and made the bed. I stared at David's shirt that I was wearing, I don't want to take them off. I'm so wrecked right now. I sighed and paced repeatedly because I have no idea what to do. Lalabas ba ako? San ako pupunta? Anong gagawin ko? Kakausapin ko ba siya? I did tell him not to ever talk to me again. Tanga ko dun grabe.
I almost jumped out of fear when someone knocked at the door. Hoping with my whole being that it wasn't David.
But fate wasn't kind and I saw David on the doorstep, he was expressionless and looked bored. He told me that his mom is calling me for breakfast and then he handed me a paper bag with my dress in it.
"Thanks" I smiled a little and looked at him. He looked away.
"I'll lend you some pants, wait here" he said as he walked to his room. I waited for awhile and when he came back he gave me sweatpants that he outgrew (just a feeling).
"T-thanks. Uhm, David about last night..." I was worried, I don't even know why I want to talk about it again. I don't know? Maybe he'll reconsider? Be a rebel and forget my last wish. Something like that.
"Don't worry, I promised" he smiled and walked away, but then stopped, "Hinihintay ka nila sa baba"
I went downstairs and saw David's mom, dad and his little sister. She's so beautiful! David looks like an angel kicked out from heaven but she- she's like an angel sent from above to convince David to change his ways. I'm guessing she's around six to seven years old.
"Good morning!" Tita greeted with a big smile. "Nakalimutan ko palang magpakilala kagabi, I'm Tita Elle, my husband Rafael and this angel here is my Kattelina, we call her Katy" she pointed them one by one as I stood awkwardly finding my chance to excuse myself to go home. I smiled and greeted them as well.
