Chapter 11: Three wishes

David held my hand as he helped me get out of his car. David was talking a lot while driving, and surprisingly, he turned out to be an interesting person. He's definitely a car person, his family actually owns more than half of our school, he studies at Princeton high (an above average highschool), he's bestfriends with Ian & Ruby since they were still kids, he has a little sister named Katy, and most of all he loves their backyard. And he's taking me there. 

Why? I'm not sure too, but he really loves it. 

"Dapat umuwi muna tayo, gusto ko magpalit" I pouted. 

"I can lend you some clothes, tara" hinila niya yung kamay ko at dumiretso sa taas. May living room sa second floor ng bahay nila at may tatlong pinto. I guess it's their rooms. David signaled me to keep quiet. He opened the door and quickly pushed me inside. 

"Mm, David you're so bold. Sa kwarto mo agad ako dinala a" I teased. 

He faked a laugh while rustling through his drawer, "Change clothes, idiot" he threw me a shirt to wear. "pants?" he continued to rustle through his drawer. 

I checked if the polo was long enough, "No need. This'll do" 

"Okay" then he started unbuttoning his shirt halfway. 

"H-hey" I blushed.  

"What?" He asked. Then as if he just realized that I'm a girl, he looked away and pointed to the bathroom. 

I quickly changed and stretched my arms as I got out the bathroom. David was wearing sweatpants and a shirt that hugged his chest. I took this as an opportunity to tease him. 

"Wew, manboobs" I formed my hands as if squeezing his manboobs. David looked at me disgustingly and I laughed my ass out. He grabbed my hand and let me feel his chest. 

"Gago" I quickly retrieved my hand. I tried to stop myself from blushing. 

"Manboobs?" he raised a brow.

"Muscle" I rolled my eyes. Okay, I lose. Ang firm nga ng chest niya. 

He led me to their backyard, it was quite dark so I can't see anything. 

"Ano ba kasing meron--" my complaining was cut off when he switched the lights on. 

It was so beautiful. They had a small pond and it's surrounded by plants and white lights. The pathway was made of stone and posts full of white lanterns led the way to the gazebo. On the other side of the garden was the hot springs. It was fake of course, David said that it's actually a Jacuzzi but they placed stones above and around it so it would look like a hot spring. 

They also have a place where they can barbecue and eat. There were sofas and a small cottage where one can sleep. They also have this lovely swing covered with white flowers and veins. 

"Ahh, so pretty" I sat on the swing. David took a picture of me on the swing using my phone. 

"I understand why you love your backyard so much" I smiled at him as he sat beside me. 

"And that is?" he smiled back. 

"Paradise. SOOO RELAXING!!!" I raised my arms to feel the fresh air. 

"My favorite place in the world, next to my room, of course" 

"I can live here" I pointed at the cottage with glass doors. "May bed oh, let me sleep there please!" I begged. 

"No" he laughed. 

"Sige na pleaseee" I begged and wore my cutest face. He was looking at me and started laughing. His smile... is so adorable. I wanted to pinch his cheeks.
