Dear diary,
Why do I feel like you are going to ridicule me when I tell you my name? I hope you're not like everyone else...
Yesterday, I went to the park, for a picnic with my friends (who were not my school friends, and girls), for fun!. One of my friend's families live nearby. So we (me and mum) went to their place, and then took their stuff. They said they were going to wait for one of the friends' mum to pick them up, instead of us. Like literally we are here? Anyways, THE WHOLE BACK TRUNK WAS STUFFED, AND ALSO ONE FRONT SEAT. LIKE WHY DO YOU NEED SO MUCH STUFF? We set off to the park. THERE WAS A WHOLE CAKE AND STOVE!
When we arrived, we had to call the help of one of my friend's parents to grab the stuff. Even so, I had to carry stuff. IT WAS SO HEAVY PLEASE GOD HELP- it was such a long way. When I finally reached one of my friends (let's just call her friend 1), I told her to hold what I was holding. 😅 Then I took it back and continued towards the park.
Then we finally arrived at a grassy patch next to the park. Though we did put down the stuff on a table because it was so heavy. Then we just waited. The friend's mum (let's just call this friend friend 3) and I went on the rope thingy with friend 1. We talked and waited for friend 2 and one more friend. Let's call her friend 3. She was arriving with friend 2. There was also friend 1's sister, and a random 9 year old girl and a 5 year old boy (who swore using what the hell) that I don't remember getting to know. Friend 3's sister was with me. She found her friend and had a merry time for a while. Me and friend 1 were on the rope thingy talking. We're just friends, please. We were talking about how long it took for friend 2 and 3 to arrive. Meanwhile, friend 3's sister was having fun with her friend she coincidentally found at the park. Friend 1's sister was having fun with her. Or with the random kids that decided to pop up.
Then friends 2 and 3 decided to pop up with their families! Friend 2's sister joined in with friend 1 and 3's sister to play the facilities. But there was very less. And before they (friend 2 and 3) came, there was a little hail (the ice was very small, don't worry). But the clouds... so ominous... anyways, we set up mats over the muddy field. It rained last, last night. Friend 2's mum brought a tent. They set stuff up while we played in the park. Well, the girls just talked and got their phones out (friend 1 got her mum's) and exchanged instagram and scrolled through it. I had like nothing to do. I didn't break out the cards yet.
Then it was picnic time (for me) I ate like loads of stuff, there was chips, curry fish balls, LITERAL INSTANT NOODLES THAT WERE COOKED ON SITE, CHICKEN WINGS COOKED ON SITE. It's a good picnic + it's hot food, but I really don't want to carry it. Anyways, we just chatted, played cards, went around the park.
Drip, drip. Instantly, there was a cloud. A really big dark cloud. I saw it first. I really hope it didn't rain. Then it did. Of course it did. Like why. Our picnic came to an abrupt end. Oh, and the best thing? We almost packed everything away when... the cloud went away and there was no rain. Me and my friends complained we didn't do anything and not enough time together. We still had to go because now the mud is soggier. And everything is wet. Awwwwww. We went back. The girls commented even a tiny bit more time would be good. Like to Tesco's or Aldi's or something. Or even the toilet. 😅.
Then we went home with friend 3's mom's stuff. Unloaded it, then went back home. My arms still ache from swinging.
Now, that day was too quick, but kinda fun. It was filling. I feel not so satisfied, but I guess that's all.
Now, for the traditional goodbye:
From,
Aldi.
Just when I didn't think he was more selfish!
What? Who are you? And my bestie is not selfish!
He is, trust me. Oh look, you're here. Now let's get started and say goodbye to you.
Hello?
Seriously, it's gone?
Really?
