"So you said yes?" Jisung exclaimed. "Wow I haven't thought about seeing you guys together again." He added laying deep into the cushiony couch.
"We are not together. We are just....." Felix was lost at words.
"Figuring out?" Seungmin asked.
"Yeah that exactly! We aren't dating yet."
"But you will." Jisung laughed.
"I don't know."
"Do you still like him?" Seungmin asked.
"I don't know." Felix and Jisung said in unison.
"Yeah, I know what happens after this. We find you guys kissing or have you already done it while figuring it out?" Jisung mocked.
"Dude, stop thinking everyone is like you." Felix rolled his eyes. "And no, I haven't even talked since then, are you expecting us to sleep together or what?"
"I mean it's gonna happen sooner or later." Jisung explained as Seungmin just facepalmed.
It's been like this since Felix and Chan agreed to confront their feelings, but the duo hasn't spoken since, which hasn't helped matters. Felix's schedule would be to attend his classes, prepare his assignments, join Jeongin for lunch, and then repeat the procedure before retiring for the night. Sometimes Seungmin or Hyunjin would join them, but Jisung rarely showed up.
"So, do you have any plans for vacation?" Seungmin asked slurping on his iced Americano.
"Don't know about that yet, what I know is I have assignments and make up classes stacked up." Felix said.
"Good for you guys can get a vacation. My vacation would be taking a nap." Jisung said in a frustrated tone.
"Sucks to be you man." Felix said.
Their university break was about to begin, and students living in the dorms were ready to say goodbye to the campus for a few months. Meanwhile, Felix was stuck with make-up classes for which he had failed to submit papers. Even though he thought university was going to be different from high school, here he was again stuck with an extra pile of work in summer.
Felix sighed, frustrated by schoolwork and the situation with Chan, and now the elder had simply texted him for dinner. He exhausted himself by double-checking the location the elder had chosen and what he should wear there. It was a fancy place, and Felix had never been to a fancy place for a date before. He pondered why Chan had chosen such a posh location when they weren't even dating. Before they broke up, most of their dates initiated at 'Get Your COFFEE,' which was now rather far away. Felix was overcome with nostalgia, but because they needed to meet up soon, he hurriedly prepared. He took a deep breath and reminded himself, 'It's not a date,' before walking out the door.
Felix had to travel alone to the restaurant because Chan was driving there from his house. He got into a cab and arrived in front of the mentioned location, which was even more opulent in person. Felix was speechless by the sight and only moved in that direction when he saw Chan approaching him and waiving his hand. He was dressed in a pair of black Oxford shoes, a black button-down silk shirt, and black pants. Simple, but he was looking stunning. Felix was unable to look away from Chan as he considered his own appearance, if he lacked proper attire.
"Am I late?" Chan asked.
"No, not at all, I just arrived." Felix smiled.
"That's a relief. Let's go inside." Chan said before taking Felix's hand. "We be joined by a friend of mine soon." He added.
"Friend?" Felix tilted his head as he followed the elder to their designated table.
"Yeah, if you remember BamBam, he will join us shortly."
