Felix and Chan had been together since they returned from their trip, and the summer break was nearly over. Since everyone was happy for them, they were grilled for reconciling after having claimed they weren't having it in a lighthearted manner. They would nearly always spend time together, crash at each other's homes, go on quick dates, cook together, and Chan would occasionally get on Felix's nerves, for his hormones. And they were happy; Felix could be at ease around the elder; he would snuggle up with Chan whenever he could, steal brief kisses, stun the elder, and don his clothes. He couldn't bear the thought of leaving the elder out of his sight.
In between all of the wonderful news, a fresh update awaited them: Hyunjin had been accepted as a choreographer at RD Entertainment, something he had hoped to do for a long time and it had finally come true. He threw a little party in his shared flat with Seungmin to celebrate before getting back to work.
Everyone was so thrilled for him that Seungmin began crying in his arms, overjoyed for his boyfriend. Seungmin was the sort who never cried in order to avoid burdening others with his emotions, but he couldn't control his emotions at the time. The nighttime celebration came to an end quickly, and everyone split ways. Felix and Chan boarded the elder's car to be dropped off, but Chan had other plans.
"Where are we heading?" Felix asked once he realised it wasn't the original track to his place.
"My place." Chan said shortly.
Felix nodded and stayed quiet before saying "Funny how at times when I ask you where we are going you just say my place." He chuckled.
"I miss you everyday."
"I see each other literally everyday."
"Not enough, we need to live together so I can sleep with you everyday."
"Weird way of saying that." Felix side eyed the elder.
"Come live with me." Chan proposed.
"Your condo is pretty far from my university."
"I could drive you there every day even when I stop working there."
"What do you mean by stop working?"
"What? I'm a teacher's aide I'm definitely not going to work there forever." Chan shrugged.
"Darn..... Really?" Now the younger seemed sad.
"But if we live together we can still see each other everyday. Chan spoke.
"Mmmmm.... I'll think about it." Felix said looking outside through the window.
"What happened? Are you upset?" Chan asked taking a glance at the younger.
"Nah, I'm just wondering if it was really a coincidence and all. You becoming me tutor for the summer vacation, then a course teach. Did you just happen to be at my university?" Felix said.
"Mmmmm... I don't know." Chan shrugged.
"Really?" Felix lifted an eyebrow looking sternly at the elder.
"Mhmmm." Chan just hummed.
In actuality, the older had asked the professor to let him become the teacher's aide; it wasn't easy, but he did it to see Felix again. When they had the second conflict, Chan figured there was no way they were going to see each other again, so he decided to step up his game. But the younger didn't need to know that.
As Chan thought about that they had already arrived at the condo. Felix took his shoes off and before he could drop his bag on the counter he was hugged by Chan from the back.
"It was so hot, I stink!" Felix exclaimed.
"No you don't." Chan said sniffing the youngers neck before placing a small kiss on his jawline. "You smell like me."
"I'm literally wearing your clothes right now." Felix said getting the elder off of him.
"They suit you, you'd look better without them though." Chan said pulling Felix's shirt's hem.
"I'm not having it right now, I need to sit down." Felix walked off and plopped on the couch.
"You're no fun." Chan said to which Felix just made faces at him.
"I love you, Yongbok." Chan said that took the younger by surprise.
"Where did that come from?" Felix asked.
"I just wanted to say it." Chan walked over to the couch and took a seat beside Felix. "Also you're supposed to say it back."
"I like you too." Felix said as his face turned red.
"That's not the same thing."
Felix sighed before he spoke again "I-I love you hyung." Before he was done the elder's lips crashed on him, it was a quick kiss Chan pulled apart and cupped Felix's face.
"Let's live together." Chan proposed again.
"Like I said your place is far from my university."
"Don't worry about that, we can find a place near your university." Chan smiled. "I want to hold you like this everyday and give you morning kisses." He added as the younger was rather a blush mess he tried to hide his face but he was no good up to Chan.
"Don't avoid me." Chan said again
"I-I am not avoiding you. You say embarrassing things that give me butterflies in my stomach." Felix said his voice cracked.
"That's a good thing." Chan smiled before he kissed the younger's eye.
Felix stayed quiet for a while before he spoke "Funny... who would have thought I'd come to love the guy I hated once." Felix chuckled.
"That has been years already."
"Hyung.... Thank you for not giving up on us. I was a total jerk and a menace to you, I lied without understanding the situation."
"Shhhh." Chan put a finger on the younger's lips. "Don't bring the past to this, we started fresh." He added with a smile.
"You made my summer complete." Felix said flashing a big smile placing his hands over the elder's shoulder.
"No, we both made it, cause you're my eternal summer."
