"Come on you look cute" Aurelia tells the boy next to her linking their arms before joining the rest of the group

"I'm covered in cardboard" Ethan replies smiling at the girl

"Yes but, you're my knight in brown armour" She argues back before placing a kiss on his lips

"If i get more of those then maybe i'll consider it" He says wrapping his arms around her waist

Aurelia is far more comfortable being around Ethan than she ever thought she would be, she's still terrified of leaving and forgetting about Wes but having Ethan allowed her to move on and become an ever better person than she was before.

"Get a room!" Mindy exclaims from behind the couple earning Aurelia to flip her off

Mindy and Aurelia never thought they would become and closer than they were last year but they got through the rest of their senior year together. The four teenagers had no one but themselves to count on and therefore spent even more time together than they usually did, which was a lot.

"Hey Tara!" A voice calls out from behind the group causing Tara to slowdown and separate herself from the group

"You guys go i'll catch up" She tells the group before going over to talk to the boy

"You look really hot" Ethan whispers nervously to his girlfriend in a cowgirl costume placing an arm around her waist

"Thank you," She starts confidently, ignoring the butterflies she instantly got, before getting cut off

"Ethan, lets talk for a sec?" Chad calls out to the boy while Aurelia joins Mindy and Anika 

"You look amazing!" Anika exclaims to the blonde girl.

Anika has become another one of Aurelia's support systems. Knowing how much she meant to Mindy the blonde girl spent as much time as she could getting to know her. Soon enough the three girls became as close as could be and Anika and Aurelia shared problems with each other and helped each other in turmoil.

"Thank you! You unbelievably good for halloween!" Aurelia jokes back with the girl she now considers one of her closest friends

"It was Jason from film studies, said he might join us later" Tara says joining the girls

Unlike the rest of the group, Tara and Aurelia's friendship only drifted. Whilst Aurelia wanted to heal from the attacks and work her way through them, Tara insisted on pretending nothing had occurred. Perhaps it was easy for her because she hadn't lost the people she cared the most about or maybe because Tara was overall a stronger person, no matter the reason for their difference in views it caused the two girls to no longer spend the most time with each other. Aurelia felt like she couldn't go to Tara when she was in pain because Tara simply wanted to forget, so she didn't go to her she went to the twins instead.

 Whilst they both felt the unwanted drift Tara had tried to preserve their friendship as much as possible. She knew the reason why they were no longer as close as they were merely months ago and she knew it was mostly her fault, she didn't know how to help Aurelia and she didn't know how to deal with the trauma they all went through. She was content knowing that Aurelia had both Mindy and Chad helping her with what Tara couldn't so she decided to try be as close in Aurelia's life in any other aspect. Movie nights. Random gifts. Updating her on her boy troubles. But seeing as Aurelia spent most of her time in the Meeks-Martin house Tara's attempt at savouring their friendship turned into group activities and whilst they remained friends and texted each other every other night they both knew it was never going to be the same
