"Lucas, is there something you want to tell me?" She asks bursting in the house "Uh-Um... no?" "Don't play dumb, I heard you guys talking at the door" "You followed me here? Why?" Steve stands up asking her "You were acting weird and stormed out on me, now tell me about this someone I don't know and I need to know or I can't trust you guys" she looks at the ground "Mae please, if we tell you, horrible things can happen, this monster is watching us" "What monster?" She asks confused "This... This someone is a girl she's transferring here-" "Don't lie to me Sinclair... I can't handle anymore lies especially what I went through when Billy died" she says trying not to fall apart remembering Billy's death, she looks at Max "I don't know what happened or who killed him!" She yells "Calm down please" Joyce says "You know what happened to him too?" She asks betrayed "If we tell you, you'll be in danger" "I'll be in danger if you tell me who and what killed Billy?" She asks scared "Exactly" Mike says, she walks towards Steve "I thought we were supposed to be there for each other and never tell lies" "Let's just tell her, we'll have to tell her sooner or later" "Steve-" "This girl is-" Dustin cuts him off "Steve! Don't tell her" "Well thanks, now I believe that friends do lie" she says walking and heading out the door, "Mae wait! Where are you going?" Lucas asks following her, she ignores him, he exhales "If we tell you about this stuff, you'll be in grave danger with someone and he'll kill you" "Tell me about this girl" "There's certain risks, you'll have to take if we tell you, you'll have to accept and keep it a secret" "I accept" they head back inside "Our friend Eleven she's Johnathon and Will's sister, we freaked out when she had powers too, but she never did hurt us, she's from the Hawkins Lab, that Dr. Brenner did a test on her and Billy died of this monster called the Mind Flayer, he saved El and us, so he sacrificed his life for us" Mike truthfully says "Wow... Where is she?" They hear the door unlock, Eleven "Hey, El, we told Mae about you, but she won't tell anyone about you" Max says hugging her, El looks at her and walks towards her "Pink hair" she caresses her hair ends "Yeah" Mae says awkwardly, "So now that you know her... Can she stay with you and Steve until we find somewhere where she can stay please?" Mike asks "Yeah sure, as long as she's safe" "Thank you" El says "No problem El" she fake smiles, then she heads outside to Steve's car for him to drive her home, "Mae" "Yeah Lucas?" "Just please be safe" he worries for her after Billy died, she hugs him tightly "I will, Eleven will keep me safe" they break the hug "I'll protect her too" Steve says "Really?" "Yeah, I won't let anyone hurt her or kill her or even touch her but, El might kill the monster before I can" Lucas puts his arm around Mae's shoulder "Bye Lucas" she says hugging him again then leaves "Bye Mae" "So you and Maelynn?" Dustin asks raising his eyebrows "Shut up bro, she's a 3 years older than me" he says "Besides she's like a older sister to me, and I just want her to be careful after what happened to Billy" "Are they still together?" Eddie asks curiously "Billy and Mae?" "They broke up the day before Billy died, but she still cared for him that's why she's so cold, she misses him" "She has a fiesty attitude, I like her-" "Eddie!!!!"
