7. The call

October.10.2022

I wake up and like every morning I check my phone but this time I'm met with a new email I go and check it, I rub my blurry eyes and I see that the email was sent to me from IMG I rub my eyes again but this time it was harder.
oh my god they hired me I didn't even know what to do with myself I just sat on my bed in shock until Rosie walks in "Woah I wasn't expecting you to be sitting up and staring at the door like a creep" I continue just to stare at her "what, what's wrong with you" I finally decided I should probably speak so she doesn't think I totally lost my shit "I got hired" she slaps me on the boob I slap her back
"oww but oh my god Ivy that's amazing come on get up"
she starts blasting SZA and she makes me dance with her "Do you work today" she asks me "No do you" she shakes her head while smiling "Nope looks like we both got another day off Now let's celebrate" I look at her confused "what are we gonna do"
"it's a surprise" She's terrible at surprises so let's see how this goes.

When we pull up to wherever we were I looked up and saw a very fancy restaurant not just can't fancy restaurant it's my favorite one she knows I don't go there often because it's so expensive and I mean we live in New York and we work at a cafe we don't have that type of money "it's on me today order whatever you want even dessert" I whip my head over to her "even dessert?" I say basically yelling, this place had THE best desserts "Yes Miss Model even dessert" I hug her "Thank you
Rosie" she hugs me quickly then brushes me off "Yeah yeah let's go inside our Uber is here already I'm starving"
"Uber?"
"yeah they have great drinks don't wanna drink and drive now come on"
When we sit down get order some booze and some appetizers "Okay so do you think I should quit my job at the cafe" Rosie makes some weird noise "I mean it's up to you but you won't see Gracie anymore" Shit I haven't even thought about that "I think I'll just stay until I really start modeling" I sit there drinking my sweet tea "No more Gracie though" she drags out the last part "you are so annoying" we just laugh about it.

After many many drinks, we started getting really loud we were constantly laughing "Gracie is just so beautiful like I can't even describe it she just radiates sun she's like listening to Daylight by Taylor Swift I'm gonna miss seeing her and making her coffee every day" Rosie point her fingers at me "You know it's bad when you're drunk mumbling about how much you love her" in the corner of my eye I see someone walking up to us
"We are gonna need you two to leave you guys have been here for far too long and making too much ruckus" I try to keep my composure until I eventually bust out laughing "Okay I'm sorry we'll leave now Come on Ivy" she grabs me by the arm and she slowly yanks me out of the restaurant "I'll get us an Uber" we sit on the curb till the Uber gets to us.

"Dude I don't even know if I can take a shower in so tired" We drug ourselves out of the car and into the apartment "Do it now so you don't have to tomorrow" I gasp "True true" I go to hug Rosie "Love you night sleep right don't let the bed bugs bite" she his me back and kisses the side of my forehead "good night Ve love you too".
And just like that I felt myself more and more tired I take a quick shower then I go to bed This hangover will be hell and I have an opening to closing shift tomorrow this will suck.

Authors note- I'm seeing Gracie and Taylor tomorrow ahhhhh I'm so excited I will update soon, some exciting things are gonna happen hehehe
