THIS IS NOW JACKSON TALKING, ON LAND.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was in my room looking for a book to read. Hundreds of books were on the floor, the pages were flipping back and forth from the wind up above where the hole is. "Jack!" My mother called from her room. "Come eat your dinner!" "Coming," I said. I grabbed a bag of Lay's Chips, classic, and climbed down the old stairs to the kitchen. "Well, that took 20 minutes," my mother said and sighed. "Sorry," I said. "I was just looking for a book to read." "Go play outside!" She said. "Mom!" I said. "We're miles away from land. The only play source is the water." "Well we have a section of fake grass near the edge of the boat; all closed in. You don't even have to worry about falling out." "is there a basket ball net too?" I asked. "yes!" my mom said. "We wanted to put it together just for you." Then she pointed to it. "That's the ladder," she said. "Go up it and turn right." So I did. And when I got up there, I gasped. It was so amazing! It had a little pool and a basket ball net hanging from the right corner, and a mini trampoline! Oh, was I happy. I jumped up and down and picked up the ball and shot a few baskets. I felt so happy. It felt like I had everything I needed. Then something caught my eye. My gaze followed what it was, and to my surprise it was a mermaid! "Ok," I thought to myself. "Aren't mermaids only in fairy tales?" So I ran down to my room and found a bathing suit and I put it on. Then I ran to the deck and jumped in the water. It was so cold! I swam under. Then I saw a flick of a red, sparkly tail fin.
