I head for the lift on Monday morning, feeling like I am barely dressed in a black, mini skirt and a lace t-shirt, that only just shows off the girls (I can't make it too obvious what is going on) and ask myself for the millionth time what the hell I am doing with my life. I am letting my boss basically sexual harass me in the workplace after knowing he has done the exact same thing to countless other women before me, all for a promotion. Although if I'm consenting to it, I guess that's not technically sexual harassment; that's just me being incredibly stupid to believe he will actually keep his word about it. Whenever he decides I have earned it of course. That should be a red flag right there, but something is pulling me in like it always kind of has. I just never let myself be taken over by this feeling before.
As I get closer to the door, I glance to check no one is around before adjusting my bra. It's currently pushing me up and together, helping show off my chest a bit more, which is why I opted for a not too low cut top as I am already flaunting everything enough with just my underwear. Hopefully it will fufill his ridiculous requirements, even though I haven't technically signed his contract yet. I guess my attire just proves that I certainly plan on doing so. If he didn't already know that.
The weekend still plays on my kind though and I wish I could find out more about him. He's definite hiding something and I want to know what it is. He stays late at work every evening, clearly not that interested in going home; he made some moment about not making breakfast for anyone in a long time - maybe there is a real underlying reason why he acts the way he does. Maybe he isn't really an arsehole - he just acts like one for whatever reason he deems it to be appropriate.
When the lift doors ding, I am relieved to see it's empty and step in, turning to press the button for the third floor, but halt when Matthew comes striding towards me, a smile creeping up on his face.
"Well, good morning." His eyes rake me up and down as he steps in after the second beep, just in time before the doors close.
I keep my eyes glued forward as he deliberately stands close enough to me that we are almost touching, trying to forget about the weekend and the fact he is checking me out. I swallow as I watch him from my peripheral vision, turn his head to look at me. I try to ignore his stare but part of his smile is just about on my eye line and I can't deny the irritation and intrigue it causes me. My brain pictures him hitting the emergency stop button and slamming my against the side as he has his way with me, making us both late for work. I'm pretty sure he likes to play the long game when he feels like it and this will be one of those times.
"Are you going to ignore me all day?" I can hear the smile in his voice and finally turn to face him.
"No, not all day. I suspect you'll find a reason for me to come in your office." I smile as he raises an eyebrow. Two can play this game. "How do you like my outfit?" I turn on the spot, slowly, pausing for longer when my back is to him and glance over my shoulder trying to gage his reaction but I get nothing.
"You have no idea how much I want to rip that all off you." The hunger in his voice kind of turns me on so I turn around and place my arms around his neck.
"Go for it." I whisper and smile when he gently backs me up against the side.
"Don't tempt me." He practically growls and presses his hips into me so nothing is left to the imagination.
"I, dare, you." I rest my forehead on his but keep my eyes locked with his. I open my mouth to speak again but the lift dings once more and the door opens to reveal the third floor. I abruptly move away from him and turn, relieved that no one else is here yet.
"My office." He takes my hand as he walks pass pulling me out of the lift with him. "Now!" He hisses as he lets go and heads off for our sector on the third floor.
