Hi everyone! It's been a bit since i put myself through the horrors of making a full on story instead of a oneshot but i kinda wanna go back to it to get myself warm up again.
This is a prequel about the fighting stick figures before they met Second Coming in his debut video
So this is going to be out of the already known 'lore' of the story since we don't have a canon idea of their lives before they met Second so I'm doing it myself.
I hope everyone enjoys it and comments are very much appreciated.
THIS CHAPTER HAS RECEIVED A MASSIVE REWRITE!
----------------------------------------------------------
Everything started with tears, a dorm room and a pregnancy test.
Maroon never really saw himself as a responsible figure, neither did his best friends.
Partying and sleeping around was the norm, it's fucking college! We're here to have fun ! They always said.
Well, that's how it started.
One week, a great party with so much alcohol Maroon had no idea how he managed to stumble into his dorm afterwards, the other week, a positive test.
Maroon hasn't seen Peach so mad.
— You ruined my life! It 's fucking over! — She would scream, over and over, but Maroon was speechless.
A small, perhaps naive part of Maroon believed himself capable, believed that perhaps this was how his family would start. Just a bit earlier than expected.
His mother was fast to shut the idea down, Maroon wouldn't receive any help from her if he stopped going to college. No help if Peach had his kid.
Peach's parents were a bit different, with a different approach. Both yelled at Maroon, and maroon alone, demanding he made the right choice, demanding he married their daughter and man-up.
Neither him nor Peach wanted that.
Conversations between the two became dull, they weren't in love, just two dumb teenagers who managed to fuck up together.
At least that's how Maroon saw the situation.
The mess hadn't really started yet.
The birth was painful, traumatizing. Peach cried and cried and didn't want to hold their baby, her mother accompanied her for the whole procedure, while Maroon watched.
The baby, a healthy adorable little Red. Maroon couldn't help but smile when he was first given the newborn.
They could make it work, maroon would make it work.
Only four days after the birth, Maroon was back on campus, a little stroller serving as a bed for Red, since he couldn't really afford a crib and had no space anyways.
