Shemar Samuels was never your average young boul; he always had his head in books but also had his ear to the streets and that together was a deadly combination. You could never figure him out and he liked it that way. Shemar never allowed anyone to know his moves, not even his own jawn. His moms always told him never let your left know what your right is doing, so in life he applied the same logic. Once he began to mature his outlook on life and ladies changed.

"AUNT RENNIE!" I yelled out. She might be at the hospital doing rounds if she's not here.

"Shemar! You know you don't have to yell my name, every time you come in here." She said from the kitchen.

Walking towards the kitchen, I saw Khanen and Kennedi at the table shuffling UNO cards.  As I sat down at the dining room table Kennedi cut her eyes at me and I had to address it because her sister already came at me sideways earlier.

"Meeks what's your problem?" I said while sticking my hands in my hoodie and staring her down.

"My problem is my sister's back at Gilbert Liberty, you wouldn't happen to know why?" She said with her head cocked to the side looking at me like she wanted to jump across the table.

"Did you ask Sparkle why she's there? I don't have the slightest idea." I said as Aunt Rennie came in sat down next to me.

"Can we not do this right now?" Khanen said rubbing his hand over his locs.

"Brudder I'm not doing nothing...yet." Kennedi said as she got up out of her seat and walked over to me.

Lil mama is definitely Sparkle's little sister, the way she's ready for a fade behind her is always unmatched. I have two brothers and they are not even as ready to slide on somebody like she is on me.

"Meeks, chill, lil mama. I'm not the reason that your sister is at Gilbert Liberty." I told her lying through my teeth.

"All I know is that my sister only goes there when she's overly stressed out and you are one of those reasons." She said with her weight on her left leg and fist balled up at her side.

"Meeks, have a seat! This is not the time for us to be at odds, we are supposed to be playing cards." Aunt Rennie told her which made her finally go back to her seat.

Kennedi was not letting up off the mean mug that she was giving me. I was watching Mannie deal the cards and my phone rang for the fifth time today from "UNKNOWN CALLER" I thought at first it was just a wrong number the first couple times but now I don't know what to think and it's starting to annoy the fuck out of me. I took my iPhone out of my pocket and put it on vibrate because I didn't want it to disturb us.

We were having a good time playing and talking smack to each other, my phone kept going off several times more and I wanted to chuck it at the wall. Finally, I answered it, and I wished that I didn't.

"Ay, yo who tha fuck is this?" I spat in the phone which had Aunt Rennie looking at me like she wanted to pop me in the mouth. The person on the other end was quiet, it was eerie. I was just about to hang up but before I did I heard "WHEN I CATCH YOUR BABY MOTHER SHE'S AS GOOD AS DEAD," then the call ended abruptly. The way that my heart started racing for Beans and wanting to kill the person who wanted to hurt her has my trigger finger itching bad.
