Guardian Investigative Service headquarters Washington County Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Longbow walked into her office and glanced at the media coverage on the last arrest.
The media sang the praises of them the police department for catching Crattick and her boyfriend.
Dalton walked in with Gibson and Angel and sat down.
"What do you figure on Scruggs and his current location?", She asked glancing up at them.
Angel straightened up in her chair;"not really sure about the location, but we feel that taking him down at his residence might not be the best of ideas," Angel replied.
"Why not?", Longbow fired back.
"Cause according to our source, he's shacking up in a trailer behind the Church of Christ, and we're not wanting to draw the church crowd to the location," Angel replied.
Longbow glanced at them for a moment, trying not to crack a grin.
"Look this is not the city, these people know to stay back when the people with badges and guns are involved," she responded now managing a grin.
"We've had country busts that have ended with bystanders being killed, we just don't trust it," Angel replied and Gibson agreed with her.
Dalton looked at Longbow for a minute, motioning for her to join him outside.
"What?", Longbow breathed.
"This is the crew that took the Hellcats motorcycle gang down, maybe we should trust them," Dalton told her.
Longbow nodded and they walked back in.
Longbow glanced down at them as she sat down.
"Okay, we're going to do it the way you want it," she told them.
Manning walked in and sat down.
"According to the last few people in Caesar's group that we took down, he is supposed to meet the rest of the group on Main Street in Dewey to hand them more getaway money tomorrow morning," Angel explained.
"Any idea what time, the street is going to be busy as heck," Longbow replied.
"Ling Lott, told us about ten o'clock," Manning responded.
Longbow eased back in her chair, throwing a pen on her desk.
"There's gonna be a lot of foot traffic going through there at that time, can we avoid a gunfight?", She asked.
"It's all gonna be up to them, you and me both know that," Angel replied.
"I'll get with the Sheriff's office and we can get set up," Longbow replied.
"Good, remember to keep the press out of it, let's not pressure them," Manning added.
"I've got a better idea, let's use them to our advantage and feed them a story," Dalton said.
"Okay, we can try it," Angel replied.
Longbow called a press conference and told them that Scruggs and his crew had fled to Claremore, Angel and her crew were hot their heels.
Scruggs and his girlfriend friend watched the whole conference on the television.
Scruggs pulled two beers from the fridge with a huge grin on his face.
"Ha, I told you that they'd follow the false trail we left them," he laughed taking a sip of beer.
"You know the feds have been known to lie to get fugitives to stay comfortable in one area," she responded.
"Yeah but, this is the Guardian Investigative Service, they never lie," Scruggs replied.
They finished their beers and headed towards Bartlesville to get something to eat.
They pulled into a small cafe on Phillips boulevard and were seated on the patio.
They glanced out over the street, watching as traffic passed by them.
"When does the concert start?", She asked.
"Seven, doors open at six, we have enough time for anything," Scruggs replied.
Guiden and Pickett were parked in a black SUV down the street watching them.
"You think we're gonna get the go ahead to bust them?", Pickett asked.
"No, we've been told to watch them and not approach until tomorrow morning," Guiden responded.
Scruggs and his girlfriend finished up and headed out towards some of the shops along the street on foot.
Guiden and Pickett handed them off to Reina and Shana.
They followed them around up until they walked into the Bartlesville municipal auditorium where the sign outside read;"Carrie Underwood tonight only."
Jacob and Special Agent Adam Anderson watched them as they walked in.
The two of them watched Scruggs and his girlfriend as they bought drinks and headed inside to their seats, front row center from the stage.
Halfway through the show, Scruggs left the building heading towards his truck.
Jacob and Adam followed him as he led them towards the Dewey highschool football stadium, where he bought a bag of meth and headed back to the auditorium.
Gibson and Angel apprehended the dealer and took him to headquarters, and weren't able to get anything out of him.
Scruggs and his girlfriend headed back to their place after the concert and were watched throughout the night.
The agents reported everything to them and headed back to headquarters.
Washington County Guardian Investigative Service headquarters Bartlesville, Oklahoma 9:52am, they all headed out to Dewey, knowing full well what they might be heading into.
They took positions up and down main street and waited for Scruggs and the rest of the crew to show up.
Scruggs walked out of the barber shop and down towards Popkiss pharmacy, still thinking that he'd outsmarted them for the time being.
"Do we take him now?", Longbow radioed in.
"No, wait on the others to show up, don't approach," Angel replied.
Within minutes, the others showed up and they swooped down on them.
Scruggs took off down the street, Longbow and Manning hot on his tail.
Scruggs headed towards the grocery store, hoping to lose them in crowd.
They got to the front of the store and Manning motioned for Longbow to head around the back of the building.
Longbow took off around the back and Manning head inside the store, his gun put away.
Scruggs weaved and dodged his way through the isles watching behind him.
Manning ducked into the restroom to wait on Scruggs to come in.
Scruggs made his way into the room and headed towards the sink to wash his face.
"You're under arrest for the murders of several priests," Manning informed him as he walked of a stall.
"Hail Caesar, those who're about to die we salute you!", Scruggs shouted punching Manning in his solar plexus.
Manning hunched over for a second;"he got me in the plexus, he's heading your way," Manning choked as he radioed into Longbow.
Scruggs drew a knife as he head out the backdoor.
Longbow quickly took him down to the ground and cuffed him.
"I thought you guys were in fragging Claremore, I heard it on the news," Scruggs panted.
"News is a wonderful resource, isn't it?", Longbow grunted back as she helped him up from the ground.
Washington County Guardian Investigative Service headquarters Bartlesville, Oklahoma,
They brought Scruggs in and put him in an interrogation room with Tasha standing outside.
Scruggs told them the same story that they'd heard before, Caesar had hired him, his brother and the others to commit robberies and killing religious people to stay out prison.
"Do you know where Caesar is now?", Manning asked.
"She's heading to Colorado to getaway from the heat that all of this has caused," Scruggs replied.
"What part of the state is she headed for?", Angel asked.
"She never tells us that kind of stuff, just that she's getting out of the state," Scruggs replied.
They finished up and headed back out into the hallway.
