"Evil comes from the abuse of free will." C.s. Lewis
Guardian Investigative Service headquarters Washington County Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Navarro, Gordon and several others walked through the door and were met by beautiful young woman standing about five feet nine inches tall with blonde hair and blue eyes greeted them at the door.
She were blue jeans, a plaid shirt, and brown cowboy boots.
"I am Special Agent Jennifer Longbow assistant head of the fugitive search unit for this counties' office," she told them extending her hand.
"We were expecting Special Agent Riker O'Neal," Navarro replied.
"He was killed in a shootout downtown last night," Longbow replied.
They walked into the meeting room and sat down.
Longbow looked at them as she went over the information they had sent her.
"Eathan Alexander Scruggs, thirty-one, five eleven, long brown hair and eyes, he has a temper and concealed carry license," she read.
"He also considers himself to be a country boy, although he was born and raised in San Francisco, California, along with his brother, whom we already have in custody in Edmond," Navarro replied.
Longbow glanced up at them again;"where do you figure on him being again?", She asked.
"We've got information that he and the rest of the group are supposed to be meeting in Dewey within the next few days," Gordon told her.
"Any idea what time of day?", She inquired.
Gordon shook his head in response.
"You said rest of the group, how many people are we talking about here?", She asserted.
"At least six to ten, and they might be well armed, and some might be great shots," Harrison put in.
"Has this been put out to the press?", She asked.
"We'd rather not put it out, we're looking for them to get comfortable," Walker put in.
Longbow nodded in agreement, as a young man with long brown hair and blue eyes stuck his head through the door.
Longbow glanced up at him for a moment, motioning for him to come in.
"This is Special Agent Dalton Grant, he's been on our crew for the past year, he and his team are getting close to catching Crattick," she told them.
Navarro eased back for a moment;"Delone "The sickle" Crattick?", Navarro asked.
"That would be him, we finally caught up to him staying in a place close to John Tyler Park, you all want in?", Grant replied.
"Yeah, he's been on the lamb for too long," Navarro replied.
Delone "the sickle" Crattick had been on the run for six brutal rapes and murders that he was tied to by DNA for several years.
He'd been receiving help from mostly friends and family, but even they were getting tired of hiding him.
He was given the name "the sickle" for the fact that every victim was hacked to death by a sickle.
This case had been active since August 23rd, 2009, and the body count hadn't risen.
Analese Crattick residence 2012 John Tyler Road Bartlesville, Oklahoma, they pulled into the the driveway and spread out as Grant and several others drew their weapons and walked up to the front door.
Navarro gazed up at the right upstairs window;"right upstairs window, the curtain just moved," he warned.
"I'm not in a good position, let him stick his neck out," Grant fired back.
A man with a twelve gauge sawed off shotgun climbed out of the window and popped two shots at them.
They ducked around a corner and Grant popped two shots back at the shooter.
The shooter fell dead to the ground from the roof.
Grant kicked the door in and they spread out through the house.
Delone dashed towards the balcony door, not sure if he should jump from the balcony into his convertible.
"Freeze Delone, you're run is up!", Grant shouted as he came through the door.
Delone glared at him, a snide grin appearing on his face, and mumbling something in Russian.
"Okay, let's do this," Grant returned putting his gun away as Gordon walked into the room and was motioned to stay back.
Delone swung at Grant, landing a punch knocking Grant back.
Grant eased back up and prepared himself the next move.
Delone pulled his sickle from his coat and swung it at Grant's head.
Grant quickly eased back and grabbed Crattick's hands, throwing his knee into his solar plexus and face, knocking Crattick to the ground.
Crattick let out an agonized growl when fell.
Gordon came in and turned Crattick over with his right toe.
Crattick laid in front of them, impaled by his own murder weapon.
"I guess we don't have much to worry about from him," Gordon said putting his gun away.
They finished up and headed back to headquarters.
Guardian Investigative Service headquarters Washington County Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Longbow met them at the door, congratulating them on catching Crattick.
"Let's get to the next bad guy," Grant shot back.
Longbow slid him the Scruggs file.
Grant gazed up from it for a moment;"this guy's a suspect in the priest slayings, right?", Grant asked.
"Yeah, he's the kill group co-leader, and this case is even more strange than that," Navarro replied.
They went on to tell Grant everything.
"You're right, this one is pretty bizarre, never heard of a parole officer leading a group like this," Grant said.
"This is the second time I have heard of this happening," Longbow replied.
They drove into Dewey and started setting up to bust Scruggs.
They got with local law enforcement and told them to back them up and keep an eye Scruggs.
They agreed to help out.
Dewey highschool gym, Dewey, Oklahoma, Scruggs walked into the building and and handed a young woman with blonde hair and blue eyes a roll of cash and was handed a bag of drugs.
Scruggs got into his truck and drove back to his just behind the Church of Christ.
He sat down at the kitchen table and got the bag out of his coat pocket.
Scruggs was interrupted by a knock at the front door.
He answered it to find a red haired, blue eyed young lady at the door.
"Come in Nadine," he greeted grabbing her by the arm and kissing her.
They shared the baggie, had sex, and fell asleep.
Guardian Investigative Service headquarters Washington County Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Longbow walked into her office and sat down, going through everything on her computer.
Grant stuck his head in the door.
"On my way to get a Meth dealer who county just picked up," Grant said.
Longbow glanced up at him;"yeah and?", She persuaded.
"She's saying that she just sold Meth to Scruggs," Grant responded.
"Get Navarro and Gordon and go get her," Longbow replied.
Washington County Sheriff's office Bartlesville, Oklahoma, they entered the building and were shown to an interrogation room where the young lady sat.
Gordon and Gibson walked into the room and sat down across from her.
"Lakely Wolff, you've got no other record of wrongdoing other than this, why did you start dealing meth?", Gibson asked.
"I have been in and out of work and about to lose my house, what am I supposed to do?", Wolff replied between sobs.
"Where's Eathan Scruggs?", Gordon asked.
"Don't really know where he lives, this was the first time I had seen him, other than the news," She responded.
They finished up and took her into headquarters.
