Red Oni & Blue Oni

A/N: Kanon & Satan bonding.

*Flashback*

Satan: Mammy! Story time!

Mammon: Okay! Okay! I'll read you a story but what's the magic word?

Satan:..... Please.

Mammon: Good Boy.

Mammon pat his head but the little shit rebelled from it while scrunching his face. But nonetheless Mammon laughed.

Satan: So...what kind of story you're going to tell me?

Mammon: I got one you might be interested in, TanTan...Have you ever heard of the story of the Red Oni & Blue Oni?

*End Flashback*

Kanon: Uncle TanTan! Uncle TanTan! Read me a story!

Satan would've never expected to be an uncle. Sure he wouldn't be surprised if one of his brothers end up having kids.

Tbh, he thought for sure Asmo would've end up having a bunch of kids running around considering his reputation as the Avatar Of Lust.

But he ends up being an uncle to his Mammy's child.

Which feels a bit strange though.

Mammon wasn't really his brother but more like his uncle slash caretaker and we all know that. So...wouldn't that make Kanon his younger sister in a sense?

Oh well...Forget about that confusing matter for now. 

But he can see why Mammon is so attached to the child. He just met Kanon and already she won his heart.

She had an love for literature and would like to pursue knowledge...just like Satan.

So of course, they would end up bonding real fast.

Satan: Okay. Okay. What's the magic word?

Kanon: Please?

Satan: That's right. Alright. Let me tell you one of my favorite stories growing up.

Kanon: You mean the ones Papa read to you back when you was a kid?

Satan: That's right...Have you ever heard of the story about the Red Oni & Blue Oni?

Kanon: No.

Satan: Well...here's the story. Once upon a time...

A kind-natured demon named Red Oni lived in the mountains. Red Oni wanted to become friends with the humans and live together with them in the village. But when the villagers saw him, they screamed, "Here comes the demon!" and they escaped in fright.

Kanon: That's sad...all the red oni wanted was friends...

Satan: Yeah. But that's not the safdest part.

Kanon: Really?!

Satan: Yep. So when Blue Oni heard Red Oni's story, he said...

"I'll go down to the village and cause lots of trouble. Then you can come and knock me out, and the villagers will see that you're a friendly demon and will play with you."

Red Oni wasn't sure, but Blue Oni went to the village and started to cause trouble and mass destruction. So the Red Oni followed him, and hit him on the head with a rock.

"C'mon, hit me harder."

The Blue Oni Said...

"I'm sorry..."

The Red Oni replied...

As so Red Oni became known as a kind demon who saved the village, and the villagers befriended him.
