Chapter XII ❥

Mathew takes his smelly and pit stained t shirt off and tosses it into his laundry basket then grabs his phone, wallet, and car keys and puts them on his dresser and takes his pants off leaving him in only his light blue boxers.

Once he plops himself onto his bed he then turns on his television.

"Hey, I'll be gone for a few days. Ann needs me to stay over at her place because her roommate will be gone visiting family so she doesn't want to be all alone in her apartment." Mark comes in while scratching his longish brown hair.

Mathew sits up to get a good look at his roommate/friend .

"Yeah sure that's fine. Is she ok?" Mathew asks while looking at what to watch.

"Yeah she's paranoid her neighbor had a break in two weeks ago so she's on edge." Mark just says with a sigh.

"Well be safe as well." Mathew says while looking at his friend.

Mark just nods his head.

"Always am." He says with a smile then walks out of the bedroom.

Mathew just chuckles and gets up to grab his phone then takes a seat back on his bed.

He then sees a text from Josie.

Can you pick up my meds for me? When they ask, my date of birth is 11/18/00.

Mathew smiles and replies back.

Okay :) what pharmacy?

Mathew pulls up to a Walgreens and turns his engine off. He then fiddles his fingers against the steering wheel and thinks for moment if he needs to buy anything for his apartment.

"Alright let's get this over with." He says to himself while getting out of the car.

He then walks in the store and grabs Josie's favorite ice cream then some 12 count toilet paper for his apartment and then makes his way to the pharmacy.

There were two guy pharmacy techs working with a pharmacist on the phone.

"Hey how can I help?" The tatted up pharmacy tech asks Mathew.

"Um, I'm here to pick up medicine for my girlfriend Josie Locke. Her date of birth is November 18, 2000." He explains while giving the guy a smile.

The guy was typing it in the computer and he looks at Mathew and smiles back at him.

"Alright, let me grab it for you." The guy informs Mathew while stepping away and going behind the shelf of allergy medicine and emergency contraceptives.

"Hey, how's Josie doing?" The other tech asks Mathew.

"Uh she's good thanks for asking." Mathew just says while putting down the mint chocolate chip cream and toilet paper.

"Okay, I can also ring up your two items if you want as well." The guy says once he returns with Josie's medication in his hand.

"Yeah sure thank you." Mathew says.

Once Mathew was done checking out he then started walking away.

"Tell Josie I say hey!" The other tech shouted.

He then walks out of Walgreens and gets in his car and shoots Josie a text.
