"Have a good day Josie." The pharmacy technician told Josie with a small smile while handing Josie her medication.

"Thank you." Josie says with a smile of her own and then walks away.

Once Josie gets in her car, she opens the bag up and takes out her pill bottle but keeps her receipt and prescription paper on the passenger's seat so in case someone sees her she can show them that it is indeed prescribed medication.

After taking her two pills she then closes her pill bottle and then starts the engine and pulls out of the pharmacy parking lot and onto the main road then puts her seatbelt on.

"Wow you're clearly so dumb." The voice tells Josie yet again.

"I feel like you say that a lot to me." Josie snaps back at the voice.

The voice just chuckles.

"I'm only saying the truth." It then says still with some chuckling.

"Shut up." Josie says once she hit a red light.

"Come on Josie, why not just end it?" The voice then asks her in amusement.

Once the light hit green Josie then started to driver her car again.

"I'm trying to take these meds." Josie says while putting on her left blinker and merging into the left lane.

"No not those. Your life." The voice explains.

This made Josie gasp.

"You want me to end my own life?" She then asks while gripping the steering wheel tightly.

There was a long pause. Meaning that the voice had disappeared on Josie.

Josie starts to think for a moment.

She never ever thought about suicide. For she's thinking about Mathew, and even though her mother is distant but still, her mother.

What about them? For when you kill yourself, you're not ending your pain, you're just passing it onto someone else.

She then glances at the lake that she's driving by and then thinks to herself.

"Maybe if I jump off the bridge. I'll be injured but not dead. Maybe it'll get the voice to leave me alone completely." Josie then starts to explain to herself.

Josie then starts to think more into this while she's driving back to her apartment.

"How's your fall schedule looking?" Audrey asks Josie in the living room.

Josie took a quick glance at her laptop screen and then looked at Audrey's.

"Not too shabby. I have a 9 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays then a 1030 am on Mondays and Wednesdays." Josie explains with a small smile forming on her face.

"Damn, I have a 7 am on Mondays and Wednesdays." Audrey then sighs.

Josie's phone goes off and she sees it a text from Mathew so she opens up her phone and sees that her and Mathew have two classes together.

"Oh Mathew and I have two classes together on Tuesdays and Thursdays." Josie then said with a small smile.

At least her 9am will be something to look forward to now.

"Well, shall we order in some pizza for dinner and watch a movie?" Audrey then asks Josie with a small smile and grabbing her phone.

"Uh sure. I'll have a pepperoni pizza." Josie then tells her roommate with a grin.

"Okay now you choose a movie." Audrey then orders making Josie chuckle.

She then turns on the Smart Tv in their living room and Josie starts up Netflix.

TRIGGER WARNING: If this gets too much please stop reading for this is a mental health awareness after all. Thank you.

Josie starts running in her dark purple bathing suit up to a bridge while Mathew, Audrey, Ann, and even run after her.

"Josie please hold on!" Audrey then yells out to the distraught girl.

"No I'm not actually dying! I just want this voice to stop talking to me!" Josie yells back while not even glancing behind her.

Tears started to stream down her face.

She then stops and steps up onto the ledge. But she made sure this is where the bridge starts because Josie doesn't want to disturb any traffic while she's trying to do this.

"Josie please listen to me." Mathew then says while catching his breath.

"Call the ambulance now." Mathew then orders Ann and Mark.

They both look at each other and then run off to where Josie can't see them to call the ambulance to their location.

"Josie, do not let the voice win." Audrey tells Josie while walking up to her carefully.

"Just jump. Do it." The voice orders her.

"Will it make you leave me alone?" Josie then asks the voice with tears streaming down her cheeks.

"We'll just have to see." The voice says.

Josie then closes her eyes.

"You guys need to understand. This is the only way I can be free from the voice." Josie then explains while still closing her eyes.

"Yes but to what extent Josie?" Audrey asks while having hurt in her tone.

"Please babe. Stay with me." Mathew says while having a scratchy voice.

"Okay, we called the ambulance." Ann then explains to the group once her and Mark make an appearance.

Mark and Audrey give each other an awkward glance and then look ahead.

"Jump now." The voice orders.

Josie then hears the ambulance sirens in the background and with her eyes still closed, she takes a deep breath.

"It's time. Don't worry everything will be okay. I'll come back I promise." Josie then sighs.

And walks backwards and jumps into the water and Josie can hear her friends screaming. Before falling into the water.

"I'm finally free." Josie thinks to herself.

She then felt strong arms wrap around her while she's floating underwater.
