"You didn't tell mom right?" Mathew asks his dad three hours later in the hospital.
His dad look at him and took a seat.
"Nah, you only got a sprain. Don't need her to overreact over something not that bad. And at least you can still play am I right doctor?" His father asks the intern walking in.
"Of course you can still play, it's only a small sprain on your left thumb. Should be better in a few weeks." The guy says while giving Mathew a small smile and then writing something in his chart.
"Well good I better text Josie. I'm sure she's worried I felt bad coach shooed her away when she was by the locker room. She just wanted to make sure I was fine." Mathew sighs while grabbing his phone and clicking on her name.
"Hey when can he be free? I need to book my flight back home soon." Mathew's father asks the doctor.
"Dr. O'Malley, you're needed in PICU." A nurse says while walking in.
"He can be free now. This nurse will show you the discharge papers." The doctor says while walking out of the room.
Mathew's dad then followed her out of the room leaving Mathew all alone.

"Well I am glad you're feeling good." Mark tells Mathew later on.
Mark's girlfriend Ann was in their kitchen cooking some dinner for all of them.
"Everyone was saying some crazy shit about the game on my twitter. First, some guy said that you had to have your hand amputated." Ann says with a chuckle while making the rice for the chicken curry.
"What? Who the heck comes up with this stuff anyway?" Mark asks while taking a seat next to Mathew on their couch and turning on the television.
"No clue. And I heard some other ones too." Ann says while focusing on the cooking.
Just then there is a knock on the door and Mark gets up and answers it.
"Um, can I help you?" Mark asks the person confused.
Making Mathew get up and walk over to the door and Ann lift her head up.
"I just wanted to check on MY boyfriend. I tried messaging him on Instagram but for some reason I was blocked." The girl with the brown hair chuckles while crossing her arms.
Mathew then stands next to a still puzzled looking Mark studying the girl.
"I had made sure that I blocked all the girls that bullied my girlfriend." Mathew then says remembering her with a annoyed look.
Mark then pats his roommate's back and walks back into the kitchen checking on his girlfriend and grabbing a beer from the fridge.
"But it's not my fault. She just talks to herself and it's a little weird to have an imaginary friend in college like she needs to grow up." The girl then says with a shrug.
Mathew then sighs.
"I'm fine. And it was only a sprain on my left thumb so have a good day." Mathew says then shuts the door in the girl's face.
"I'm dumping you Mathew we are over!" The girl shouts while pounding her fist on the door and then walking away.
"Psycho." Ann sings out while cooking.
