Later that night, Mathew went inside Josie's bathroom to take his shower. And Josie sat on her bed for a little bit then decided to grab a late night snack.

Once she walked out of her bedroom she bumps into someone making them grunt.

"Oh, it's just you. Listen I don't need you to ruin my party this weekend by talking about your make believe disorder. My mom is a psychiatrist after so she should know a thing or two about mental illnesses and you're faking." Her brother's girlfriend told Josie while fixing her blonde hair into a quick bun.

"But, it's not make believe. I do hear a voice in my head once in a while." Josie says quietly hoping the voice won't speak up.

"Just say that it's an imaginary friend. Even though you're too damn old for one. Just stay out of my way and don't ruin anything for me you attention whore." She just orders Josie then walks away from her and into Josie's brother's bedroom.

Josie has silent tears streaming down her face but makes her way down the stairs and into the kitchen to make her midnight snack.

"Oh. Hey sorry I thought that I was alone." A Chef told a startled Josie while grabbing some things some the fridge.

Josie then grabs a small bag of Cape Cod salt and vinegar chips.

"It's two a.m. why are you cooking so early in the morning the party isn't till twelve hours." Josie explains while opening the bag of chips.

"I'm not cooking yet, just prepping. Your sister in law wants a lot of food served and most of them takes a while to make. So I figured I would get started on the prep for now so I can have more time for other things." The chef said while putting her hair up in a ponytail.

Josie just stares in awe.

"She's not my sister in law." Josie says with a grossed out look.

The chef looks up at Josie and raises an eyebrow.

"Well she will be. It's her and your brother's engagement party after all." She says to Josie then looks down and starts cutting up the cucumbers.

"I thought it would just be a normal party. She doesn't even like me I'm not sure why my brother would pick her to marry." Josie says while taking a seat on the stool.

"I have a few guesses, and I've only met the girl eight hours ago." The chef says while putting the cucumbers in a mixing bowl.

"She thinks my mental disorder isn't real. My brother used to believe me but now that he has her he's starting to not." Josie sighs while frowning at the thought.

"My brother here's voices too. And I believe him, so I believe you." She says while giving Josie a smile and grabbing a bag of shrimp from the freezer.

"How do you know about me?" Josie asks with a surprise.

The chef chuckles.

"I'm a chef. My servers and I hear everything that's going on. Plus, they talked about you, your family." The chef says while starting to prep the shrimp.

"I'm Josie." Josie says with a smile.

The chef looks up and smiles too.

"I'm Amanda." She says then looks back down and gets to work.
