I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Every Monday right as the bell rings before class starts and the normal announcements. 'Please stand for the Flag.' They'd say and we'd all stand tired and annoyed, but we'd follow along with the words sometimes in a mocking tone and sometimes just lipping it and not actually saying anything. Like They'd know if we where actually saying anything when there's 20 other kids in the class doing the exact same thing.

I know it's not universal. Some of us had to do it everyday. Hey do you remember that brake down that you had to do in class? The one where we'd have to explain the meaning behind every word in the pledge? Or the one we had to do about the Flag? Ah yeah those days. Remember standing in line to get food? Some of you would of had lunch numbers. Remember having to remember those things. Bloody fuck I remember mine 21058. That was the one I had for my whole school life except the last two. We then got swipe cards or scan cards.

I remember never needing to worry if I had lunch money because my family was on that program where you got free school food. I know some kids weren't. There family's had enough or they just missed the deadline.....

I had a weird life... but it was a fun life in some areas. But let's take it back to the beginning the pledge. There been a lot of versions of it over the years and then there's been remakes of it because we wanted to make something creepy for the purge movies or other things.

Well! I'd like to suggest my own chessy shitty version.

I pledge allegiance to myself, and my rights to freedom and happiness, true to no-one but my morals, to no nation, to no god, with love and liberty for all.
