"You're tired? No worries, just come here." They said, their calm soothing voice breaking through the silent air.
You sluggishly move your body and rest next to them, curling up in their lap.
They smile, moving a hand to brush away your hair away from your face.
"How was work today? If you're comfortable telling me, of course." They asked, tilting their head.
You had a long day at work, and were really exhausted, so you just let out a few words.
"Tiring. Jus' wanna sleep here w' you..." You replied, clearly tired and not able to continue conversation.
"Alright alright, I'll let you sleep. I won't ask more questions, darling."
You fell asleep to the soft hums and coaxing of your significant other, as they brush your head while you rest.✦

"Hey, hey, woah, you don't look alright. Did something bother you today?"
Your significant other held out their arms, stabilizing you as you looked like you were going to collapse at any moment.
"I-I'm fi-" you started, but they stopped you.
"Nuh-uh, you're not going anywhere, come on, let's just cuddle together for today okay? You look like you need it." They suggest, wrapping you delicately in their arms and leading you to the couch.
You slink onto their shoulder, wrapping an arm around their neck and closing your eyes.
"Love you."
"I love you too, Y/N. Get some rest for me, okay baby?"
And before you knew it, you were fast asleep, entangled in the arms of the one you love.✦

You felt the absolute worst today. You can't even tell what zapped your energy today, but something must have happened, because when you came home, you immediately crashed into your shared room with your significant other, completely drained.
"Y/N, what happened? You seem overly... exhausted..." They ask. Their expression is as monotone as ever, but a hint of concern shines across their face.
"I'm fine, just need a few moments to lie down." You assured them, nodding in their direction as you curled up next to them.
"Alright... just— I'll be with you here, okay? However long you need to."
Noticing that you were already fast asleep, they smiled softly.
"Sweet dreams, Y/N."✦
