3. Charismatic Christina

Soon the evening arrived and it was time for the pre-wedding party. It was organized by Mr. Wilson as a surprise to his daughter Claire. He invited all her close friends from school to college and her work place.

Claire had no idea about any such event until a team of make-up artists knocked on her bedroom door. When she opened the door and peeked out, she was astounded to see her sister Christina, standing with them along with a dress Claire was going to wear tonight.

It was a theme party where the girls wore red dresses fitting their perfect figure; and guys jade black, suiting the brawny sexy bodies.

However, the girls dominated the party as all of them appeared simply hot. Every guy present there had their eyes fixed on them.

There was buzzing loud music resonating in every inch of the hall.

"This looks so cool!" Claire blushed as a friend of hers just arrived and teased her.

She coughed looking at Jackson who rolled his eyes, faking his attitude, before he burst into laughter.

"Hi babe, how are you?" They were mutual friends.

"Doing fine but not as much as you!" The friend exclaimed, throwing her hands around Jackson. "Looks like you are going to have a wonderful passionate night, mmhmm!" She chuckled whereas Claire blushed.

Meanwhile, Mr. And Mrs Dawson who were also a part of the party remained in a corner, witnessing the young population enjoy the evening.

They were adoring the bride sitting on the sofa in the center of the hall, by the wall, in a black sleeveless gown that encapsulated her in a perfect fit with golden embroidery at the edge of the gown and around her neckline.

She was looking really pretty. On the other hand, Jackson was no less. He was a tough competition to the bride. He was clad in a blue Armani suit.

The party was in full swing, nevertheless, something was missing!

Claire looked around the room and realized it was her sister, Christina.

She was nowhere to be seen. Having scrutinized every girl's face in the dim-lit room, she turned to one of her cousins who was near her to inquire about her sister when all of a sudden the crowd present there turned their gaze towards the staircase.

There she was... Christina Dawson.

Cherry red shade suited her fair complexion and the column gown she wore made her look more than just breathtaking. Her midnight-black hair flowed over her shoulders as her kohled eyes made her dark blue pupils glint like a calm ocean. Christina's sweet honey lips glowed red with matte paint, looking like rose soft.

There was a black shimmery belt around her waist and it sparkled as she descended down the stairs with an elegant smile on her mouth.

"She looks beautiful!" Jackson exclaimed, his eyes not blinking even for once.

"She indeed does." Claire muttered absentmindedly as she was busy admiring her sister.

Jackson smiled at her expression and whispered to her, "Looks like I fell for the wrong Dawson girl." Only to receive an elbow in his stomach from his fiance.

Anyways, Christina joined her sister as she sat beside Claire on the plush sofa.

"My little one looks so radiant." Claire stated adoring her face.

"Thanks for the compliment, dear bride. You are looking no less though." She teased her sister.

Then Christina peered at her back at Jackson who had his eyes smiling at her lovingly as if saying, 'You are heavenly.'

Christina brought her mouth near her sister's ear and whispered, "Your fiance's libido must have spiked up to its end after seeing you in this dress." They laughed.

"He has promised to sneak inside my room tonight." Claire replied to her.

They laughed quietly. But before they laughed harder, "Hey, Tina! You look gorgeous in this gown. Nice choice. You have every guy's eyes on you." one of their cousins joined them and teased her.

Her statement made her look around the room and realize that all the boys were indeed gawking at her.

However, she twisted her lips and huffed slowly so that it was inaudible to her cousin.

'Huh, the one who was supposed to see all this, the one whom I got dressed so heavily for— hasn't arrived yet.'

She thought to herself.

After their afternoon conversation, which lasted for two hours, Luke was inactive. She tried calling him and sending him messages but received no reply from him.

And the strangest thing was that— he'd been getting inactive a lot recently.

They wouldn't meet like they used to do earlier. No late night talks or chats. It was just that Luke was refraining from coming online as if he could not afford doing that. As if that was painful.

Christina attempted to ask him what was the matter behind his sudden inactivity but she got bust with the arrangements of her sister's wedding. And the only time they would talk to each other was at night before going to sleep. But lately that has also stopped.

She was lost in her muse until she heard an announcement made by Basil, her cousin.

"Ladies and gentlemen, first of all, I would like to thank each and everyone of you for gracing this party with your arrival. The delight of your presence is legit visible on the face of my cousin and the lovely bride, Claire." She made all the eyes follow the point of her forefinger that was directed towards Claire and Jackson.

Both of them acknowledged her special mention with smiles and flying kisses as they stuck closer, relishing every minute of it.

"This evening before her wedding could not have been any better. But but but... Don't you think there is still something missing?" Her sudden interrogation gave rise to curious expressions on the faces of the guests.

"Without taking much of your time and making you stress your brains, I would love to bring to your notice that our bride's younger sister, Christina, is a really good singer. And a party without live singing is nor just it. That being said, I would love to

call Christina on the floor and dedicate a heartwarming song for the bride and groom and make this evening a memorable one." A loud rumble of applause beside hooting and cheers broke the silent air as out of nowhere a spotlight befell on the flawless beautiful sister of the bride.

She amused the crowd for her jaw was shockingly hanging while her wide kohled eyes glared at Basil who was standing in the middle of the hall with a mic and a smirk.

"Though she looks dangerous with that murderous glare thrown at me, she sings equally amazing. So give her a huge round of applause once again." Basul winked at her broadly as she slowly clapped her hands together.

She cried out loudly in amazement when Christina crossed the room and paused next to her with a forced plastic smile that she gave to the mass of people. But it changed into a pisses of grit and pressing of mouth as she faced Basil.

Gosh, it looked like it was going to be her last night! Basil wondered.
