6. His cupcake

"Thanks bud! I owe you for this." Luke thanked Ron, another friend of Christina who was also his friend. 

It was Ron who sent Benny for Christina's rescue as he knew how whorish Julia could become. They were once a couple until Julia started crushing over Luke. 

Ron was there in his office with Christina as one of his interns. They shared similar interests in most of the things and thus became friends. Luke was helping Ron with his new business he set up by investing in it. 

Anyways, Luke walked away from there ignoring Julia's glance. Now she was left with Ron. She looked at him who was already looking at her with an unknown emotion. 

She neglected it and turned around to go but he pulled her close to him by her elbow and took her behind a pillar that was at their back.

"What the hell do you think you are doing, huh!!!" He questioned her with annoyance playing in his voice. 

"Who exactly the hell are you to ask me that? It's none of your business so keep out of reach." Julia snapped at him and tried to get rid of him but he tightened his grip on her hand. 

She tried hard but all in vain. The more she struggled to get out of his grip the tighter it became.

"Just listen to me, Julia," Ron dangerously close to her, making her go breathless. "Stay away from them. You couldn't save your relationship... Now don't work towards running others." 

He caught her aggressively by her elbow again and pushed her to the wall behind. There were infinite emotions. But one of broken heart was the strongest one that also glowed in his hurt eyes. 

He had loved her with all his heart. Had she not turned into a bitch and decided to chase Luke after breaking up with him, they should have been together today. 

"I know you love to play with others emotions, but I warn you Julia just stay away from them otherwise the consequences would be unexpectable for you." He warned her, his eyes were moist. 

He jerked her hand away and got out of the door holding his tears back. 

Watching him leave like that, Julia caressed her skin that was burning where he touched. 

She had deceived him. She played with his emotions just to stay close to Luke since he was an intern in his company. 

Being one of the most desired bachelors, Luke received unwanted attention from the female population and not everyone was lucky enough to meet him in person. But she was. She was dazed when she learned Ron was an intern in Luke's company hence she faked to be in love with him and became girlfriend only because she wanted to get each and every information about Luke.

'I... Didn't mean to hurt you, Ron.' She mused with her own eyes getting blurred. 

Yes she was a bitch. She did all this and played with Ron's heart only for Luke as she wanted to woo him. But her intention was not to hurt Ron. 

Today seeing tears in his eyes made her cry too. The person for whom she did all this didn't even spare her a glance as he walked away ignorantly. But here Ron didn't just come forward to talk to her but also showed what he still has in his heart for her. 

"He truly loved me." She whispered to herself. 

The moments which Julia spent with him came flashing into her mind. The way he used to pamper her when she would be angry, when she couldn't understand anything so he would explain to her, when she used to go late to the class he would defend her across the teachers and everything.  

Infact after they separated, she missed Ron and thought about him more than Luke. 

"I... I... Loved him all this while but my crush was so intense that I couldn't notice it. I love you, Ron." Murmuring this, Julia went out in search of Luke. 

She came out of the villa in the garden and found that he was standing near a pillar adoring the beautiful sky with the twinkling stars where his eyes were twinkling too... not by the stars but tears. 

She walked toward him and kept her hand on his right shoulder but Ron remained in that posture... like a statue. 

"Ron, I need to talk." She tried to get his attention but all in vain.

After unsuccessful attempts at drawing his attention, she came and stood across him. 

Minutes passed like this since she was staring at him. Ron thought she would leave him alone once he ignored her but no, she would not just go. 

He had enough of her and he held both her shoulders and pulled her dangerously close to him. He was holding her shoulders so tightly that he even left his finger marks over there. Julia e winced in pain but Ron did not lose his hold.

"What do you want now? Huh," His eyes sparked with fire as he shook her shoulders. 

Julia smiled sadly between a painful expression and peered deep in his eyes. 

"I am sorry."

"Sorry?" He laughed sarcastically. 

Julia continued her sad smile as she perceived he was unable to get it. But she didn't blame him for that. All this time she gave him no reason to trust herself. 

"I am really sorry Ron for being a bitch to you. I have always been mean and selfish." she confessed. "I was obsessed with Luke. I was so much into him that I never saw your love. Please forgive me." 

She tried to take a hold of his hand. Ron snickered irritatingly and jerked away. 

"This must be a new level of your game. But not again as I am not falling into your traps this time." Ron threw that in her face and turned around.

As he disappeared into the Dawson villa again, Julia sniffed before she turned around. Her facial expressions turned gloomy as she walked out with teary eyes.

Back at the party, everyone was enjoying themselves. Ron found one of Christina's cousins and hit the dance floor with her. While everyone was lost in themselves, Luke quietly advanced Christina and before she noticed him, pulled her behind a pillar.

"Hey darling!" He captured her lips in a hungry kiss.

He tasted her mouth and even stole the warmth of her beautiful figure. When out of breath he pulled away and joined their foreheads.

"So... You finally realized your girlfriend was at the party?" Panting heavily Christina mocked him.

Ever since his arrival, he hasn't come to meet her. He savored hearty laughs and chuckled on lame jokes the men around him cracked. Christina had been watching him from afar and waiting for him to come but he wouldn't.

Now standing under his trap and being showered with kisses and made to feel like a princess, she didn't let it go without glaring at him.

"What? You only didn't want anyone in your family to know about me." He remarked with widened eyes, showing his shock.

"But that doesn't mean you won't come to attend me."

"That's not fair, Tina!" 

"What is not fair, Mr. Wellington?" She freed herself from him and huffed as she crossed her hands across her chest. 

"That you bother me a lot nowadays." Luke said with a small smile. 

He tried to hold her but got pushed away while a grumbling Christina glared at him, "Fine, I won't bother you now." She sprinted away with a red angry face. 

"She's crazy! My cupcake." Watching her retreating figure, Luke slumped against the pillar as he wondered how to eliminate her anger.
