𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐖𝐎 𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒, life had shifted rapidly for luna. a brand new flat to settle into, a new school ready to welcome martina, and now, a brand new workplace waiting for her, liverpool's training ground. with school not starting until monday, martina was staying the night with her grandparents, giving luna the freedom to focus entirely on this new chapter.

driving through the familiar streets of liverpool, luna felt a mixture of nerves and excitement twist in her stomach. this was more than just a job, it was a chance to rebuild, to step back into a world she'd left behind years ago. every mile closer to the training ground brought a surge of anticipation, a hope that this fresh start might finally stitch together the pieces of her life that had been scattered.

as she pulled into the parking lot, the early morning sun casting long shadows, luna took a deep breath. the unknown stretched before her, vast and unpredictable. but beneath it all, she felt ready. ready to face whatever came next, to find her place again, both in this city, and in the lives of those she cared about most.

she stepped inside, clutching her camera bag tight against her side, her boots clicking softly against the floor. the air smelled faintly of fresh grass, new boots, and overbrewed coffee. it felt like stepping into another life, familiar, but not quite the same.

jürgen appeared from around the corner, his grin as wide and warm as ever. "ah! miss cortés! it's an honour to finally meet you in person!" he reached out to shake her hand, his accent thick but friendly, eyes crinkling with genuine warmth.

luna smiled, her voice steady despite the nerves in her chest. "likewise, mr. klopp. i'm very happy to be here."

"and we're very happy to have you!" he gave her hand a firm shake before clapping his other hand on top like a proud uncle. "you come highly recommended. your portfolio is chef's kiss, no? stunning work!"

"gracias," she laughed, cheeks warm. "i still can't believe this is real."

"believe it!" jürgen said, leading her down the corridor. "this is your new home now. well, not literally, unless the flat we found you is terrible, then maybe. in that case, you can sleep in my office. it's warm, smells like tactical disappointment and menthol spray."

luna laughed, eyes wide. "tempting offer, really."

"just wait," he grinned. "give it a week and the lads will be fighting to be in your photos. they love attention more than training. except maybe robbo, but that's just because he thinks smiling weakens the jaw."

"good to know," luna chuckled, following him past framed photos and boots mounted on the wall. "so, how do you usually like things to run with media?"

"simple," jürgen said, turning a corner. "i let the media team do their job and i stay out of their way unless someone's getting photographed shirtless. that's when i come in with a towel and a warning."
