𝐉𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐒 𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐍𝐄𝐑 𝐈𝐒 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐘 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒 𝐘𝐄𝐓 𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐎𝐄𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐓 view himself as a pushy person, if anything his only wish at the moment was for his friend and team captain to wake up and see that he and luna were a match made in heaven for several reasons aside from their friendship, luna's presence over the past month had shown a noticeable change in jordan.
the players noted how inspired he was on and off the pitch, leading with a sense of motivation and pride. even during the training sessions in which luna was present outside to take pictures for the social media accounts, the smile across jordan's lips was present throughout the entire training session.
james had been the witness to many instances in which the pair appeared to be comfortable around each other yet there was a clear sense of hesitation on both their parts which irritated him. there was clear chemistry, a bond that all of the people working in the club can see yet the ones that were meant to see it were too blind to.
this morning, it was a media day that included a promotional photo shoot for all of the players to promote the new away kit for the season by nike. james, had arrived early to the studio to find luna fixing the positions of the lighting. he coughed loudly to capture her attention as she had the music on and was humming to herself, she turns to face him and smiles, " hola "
" hola " james responds, " wanted to come and see if you needed any help "
" that's sweet of you milly but i am almost finished so it's all good " luna smiles, about a month in. james had told her to call him milly as most if not everyone working calls him that.
" that's ok, i don't mind " james shrugs.
" can you get me that box then? i want to put these lights in the back cause they'll make the portraits more elegant " luna gestures to the box in the corner.
james nods, going over to grab the box then bring it for luna. " so luna, do you have any plans tonight? "
luna shot him a questioning look before muttering, " no james, i do not "
" well that means you can come over for dinner tonight at my house, amy is excited to meet you in person! " james exclaims with a smile.
" really? " luna's brows shot up to her forehead.
" yes, you see. she has found your account and said that i am obligated to ask you to come over because she wants to be friends " james chuckles.
" she wants to be friends, really? " luna still couldn't fathom what james meant. " so this isn't you wanting to fish out more information about my history with jordan "
