Chapter 13

Vegas pov

I'm here to catch some rats who are doing human trafficking using Theerapanyakul name. I'm no saint for sure but I don't do this crap. Kinn is here with me since he also has heard about this shit that was going behind our backs.

I sent my driver to drop auntie home. She has been going to her office and returning to home with me. I offered her another driver but she declined saying going with me is more fun?! I've stopped trying to understand her weirdness to be honest, huh!

It was dark when we got there and started our plan. It was an old warehouse. We got information saying that they are keeping young kids here to use for drugs and prostitution. Disgusting fuckers!!

I signalled my men to move according to the plan. One of them got inside from the side windows without alerting the guards and told us through the ear piece that there weren't anything else except for 2 containers. The fuck?! Kinn and I looked each other and nodded.

We got inside after shooting the guards. It was so quiet. Fuck, is this a trap? Before I say anything we heard gunshot  sounds and we started shooting back. Realizing that they are about to lose the fight some of the goons ran away before we catch them. After the shoot out Kinn ordered our men to open the containers. To our surprise there were little children inside. They were tied with ropes and their mouths were covered with tapes.

Kinn and I came out the warehouse after ordering the men to send the kids safely to their houses.

"We have to catch who is behind this." Kinn said seriously to which I nodded.

"We could have let some of them live to get their boss's name, fuck." I said frustrated.

"Don't worry. The fuckers who ran away will inform their boss that they lost the kids and I'm sure they will do something like this again. We'll get them then." Kinn said patting me in the shoulder.

I nodded and after that we parted away.

Fuck, that was one hell of a day!! I can't wait to see my two babies at home!

Pete pov

Macau and I were playing games in the gaming room when auntie came home in the evening. The gaming room is so cool. It's my first time ever seeing one and this was just wow. It was purple colored  and there were many gaming equipments in there. I didn't even know some of their names, hehe.

Vegath said he is going on a mission today. I made him pinky promise me that he won't get hurt. I'm relieved since phi Kinn is there with him too, hmm.

"How are you sweethearts?" Auntie said hugging both Macau and me. We chuckled and replied that we were good.

"I'll go change first. After that, what should we do till Vegas comes home, hmm?" Auntie asked.

"Let's watch a movie." Macau said excitedly. I nodded eagerly at that.

Auntie chuckled and said, "Alright then. Get ready for the mission kids."

"Yes ma'am." Macau and me said at the same time making auntie chuckle. We smiled.

So we prepared the couch, set up a movie and we got the most important thing which is snacks as well, hehe. After auntie came we started our movie marathon.

It has been five and half hours and I started to get worried. Why is Vegath still not here? Is Vegath and phi Kinn okay? I started to bite my lip in worry. Macau was sleeping on my shoulder and auntie was still watching the movie, sometimes smiling when she look at us. Poor Macau, he's such a hardworking boy just like his brother. I would do anything for their happiness, hmm. I thought smiling.
