☆ ★⌇ 𝑯𝑶𝑾 𝑻𝑯𝑬𝒀 𝑴𝑬𝑻. They met once Taerin joined SM entertainment. Aeri showed her around and stuck by her side as she settled in. Tile went by and the two became good friends, they hung out together almost everyday, trained together and slept over each others dorms. One thing thing less to another and they ended up kissing one night, at first Aeri was left confused with herself but in the end she accepted her feelings and the two ended up dating.
☆ ★⌇ 𝑬𝑵𝑫𝑬𝑫. The company ended up finding out about their relationship and hated it. They forced them both out of the company and banned them from ever coming back. Taerin was willing to give up being an idol to continue the relationship but Aeri blamed Taerin for ruining her career, and ended up breaking up with Taerin. They both went their separate ways and Taerin was the only one who ended up debuting.

They then met properly in I-Land and both instantly became close and comforted each other throughout the whole show. They cheered each other on and hoped to debut together. They found themself worrying for each other in the other got a low rank and wished for them to get higher. One night when Taerin was practicing late and night Jake came in and brought her some water and food, he let her rant to him about how she was feeling unconfident the last couple of days and Jake listened to her the whole time without getting distracted. After the two had talked Jake comforted her and reassured her that she was doing just fine and if anything she was improving. They confessed that they desperately wanted to debut together and when Taerin went in to hug him out of gratitude, Jake ended up kissing her instead. She kissed back which lasted for a minute and when the two finally broke apart they couldn't help but laugh and agreed to keep it private.
