16th chapter

We decided to go take a quick shower together. We couldn't let go of each other. After he took me standing under the shower again, we were both extremely tired and went to bed only half-clothed. I rested my head on his warm shoulder. He kissed me on the top of my head. I stroked his cheek and fell asleep.

I slowly woke up the next morning. Sebastian was already awake and caressed my hand. I looked at him. He smiled at me affectionately. "That was the best night of my life, thank you," he breathed while kissing me. We got up, got dressed, and left Solomon's room.

"Ah, glad you made it out of my bed. And since you're going to have to shower together at night, you might as well be quiet," Solomon said, annoyed.

Sebastian and I sat down with the other two at the round table in the middle of the room.

Anne looked surprised, "But I thought you were dating Garreth?". "Are you surprised that your brother tempts a taken girl to whore around? With his morals, that doesn't surprise me," Solomon said coldly.

Sebastian's face, which had just been so peaceful, turned red with anger. I grabbed his hand and looked at him.

"Solomon, you're going too far. Stay out of things if you don't understand them," said Sebastian, unexpectedly calm. Solomon looked at Sebastian. "What exactly is there not to understand about that? The girl has a boyfriend and cheated on him with you. I don't know this Garreth, but I don't think he's a worse choice than you."

Sebastian banged his fist on the table and said furiously, "Please just shut up.". Solomon looked at him. "You'll grow up first. You have to understand that there are limits. Whether it's in terms of your interest in dark magic, in her," he pointed at me, "or in terms of Anne.".

"Why? Just because I don't want her to suffer forever? Unlike you, I am looking for solutions." asked Sebastian loudly. "That's exactly what I mean Sebastian, THERE IS NO SOLUTION! When will you understand that?" Solomon asked loudly as well. "Never! I won't stop looking for solutions. Just because you gave her up, you can't expect me to do the same."

They both paused their argument for a moment when Anne started screaming and convulsing in pain. "Look what you've done again. Get out! Get out of my house!" Solomon demanded as he helped Anne get back into her bed.
Sebastian got up, grabbed our stuff, took my hand and pulled me out of the house. He walked and walked. He didn't let go of me, nor did he speak. After a few minutes we arrived at the bottom of a small hill outside of Feldcroft. Sebastian stopped and returned my bag and robe to me.

"I'm sorry that I freaked out like that. But I can't take it anymore. I just want Anne to be okay," he said dejectedly. I stood in front of him and took his hands in mine. "Sebastian, I know. And I think it's good that you're not giving up. That shows a lot of love for your sister."

He rested his forehead on mine. "Thank you. Thank you that at least you understand my intention.". I started smiling. "Well, as Sallow's whore, anything else would be shameful." He also had to smile a little. "Don't say that. You know it's not just about sex with you.". "I know," I said, kissing him and asking, "What are we actually doing here?".

"Up on the hill is where Anne was cursed. I figured it would be an excellent opportunity to kill some goblins and look for more clues. Just because you're seeing things I'm not seeing.", he said.

"Fine, then get your wand ready and let's go" I said confidently. "Just for being so fearless and brave I love you. While it would have been nice to be in Slytherin with you, I have to admit that Gryffindor really suits you better." Sebastian grinned.

We slowly walked up the hill. The first goblins came towards us and hurled spells at us. But both Sebastian and I were excellent duelists. We worked our way back-to-back through the goblins until we got everyone out of our way.

"It was much easier with you than I would have thought. You really are a strong witch. I have to admit that too.", Sebastian said appreciatively. I replied, "I think we're just a really good team," while slipping my wand into my pocket. We kissed again. On the hill was a collapsed ruin.
