"I'm sorry you have to experience all this, Leander," I said. "You're used to a lot with Garreth, but this is a completely different level.", he answered.

"Leander, if Garreth ever threatened you, I would like to apologize to you.", he waved his hand, "It's all right. I couldn't change anything about my feelings either, but you two have a strong connection to each other, no one in their right mind can deny it. So I've resigned myself to my fate. If anyone deserves to be close to you, it's Garreth. I've turned my attention to other girls as well, and am trying my luck. Garreth is pretty much my best friend and I wish him all the happiness in the world."

I was astonished. "You're a good friend, Leander. I hope Garreth appreciates that."

He laughed, "Well, when I'm not the subject of his potions, he's a really good guy. And even being the subject is mostly quite funny. Except once when I lost all my hair and even mine Eyebrows. I looked so stupid. I punched him hard for that.""Where are Lawrence and Eric by the way?" I asked, pointing to the two empty beds next to Garreth's. "The two idiots accidentally blew themselves up and are in the hospital wing. Their injuries are not critical, so they will probably be back in the next few days."I flopped onto the back of Garreth's bed. The smell of Polyjuice still lingered, as did the smell of Cressida's blood. I felt tears welling up in my eyes at the thought of Cressida touching my Garreth.

How must it have been for Garreth then when I was meeting Sebastian, and how must it have been for Sebastian knowing that Garreth and I were constantly spending time alone? I felt miserable.

"Love is really scary. What some people are capable of when they're in love. Crazy.", Leander said, "And Garreth accepts that you have feelings for Sallow without killing him? I wouldn't have thought that. You're really lucky to have him, Caelie. I don't think you will find anyone better.""Has he really always been this insecure?" I asked. "Yeah, relating to you always. I don't know why either. He's rebuffed so many girls. Apparently they resonate with him, but in contrast to me. He's handsome, funny, creative and smart . I don't know why he's so insecure about you either."

The bathroom door opened slowly and a lot of water vapor came out. Garreth came back again.

He was standing shirtless in the room, his skin very red, he looked really unhappy. "Garreth, why is your skin so red?" I asked, horrified. "I tried to boil myself. I feel so incredibly nauseous. The feeling didn't go away despite the hot water. I don't know what to do... I didn't know. I'm so sorry, Caelie," he sat on the edge of his bed and covered his face with his hands.

I placed my hand on his back and rested my head on his shoulder. "Sleep here, Caelie. I think the poor guy needs you more than he can say right now, but please don't... well you know," Leander said. "Would you like me to sleep here?" I asked, looking at Garreth. Without moving his hands from his face, he gave a slight nod.

Leander switched off the light and Garreth got into bed. I snuggled up to him. I caressed his cheek. It was wet. He was crying silently. "Everything is fine. I'm here. I am and will always be your future Mrs. Weasley. Everything is fine. This doesn't change our relationship," I whispered.

It hurt me so much to see him suffer so much. He was slow to calm down. I put his hands on my cheeks and spoke softly to him. I wasn't mad at him. Of course, the thought pained me, but I knew that Garreth was absolutely innocent. But obviously he blamed himself a lot more.

Slowly his pulse and breathing calmed down and I felt that he was slowly falling asleep.The next morning we were woken up by Leander. We woke up and looked at each other. Garreth's skin was still red and his eyes were slightly swollen and had deep circles.

We got up. "Great, every fucking Gryffindor knew what happened around here that night," Garreth said, annoyed. "Caelie, if someone makes a fool of you or insults you, tell me who did it and I'll take care of the rest," he added. We left the boys' dormitory together.
