It felt like hours of just purely walking along the highway.

Most of the cars were a big variety and mostly different, nor did they look familiar

I haven't even got a watch or a clock with me, so I couldn't know what time it was.

After forever, I saw a light

A lot of lights

I squinted my eyes and saw it was the city!!

Finally after like a fucking century

I ran over with a big rush of adrenaline

Maybe it was hope

Or pure joy and excitement

Maybe today I was going to go home.

Entering the city, I get honked at straight away

The dude who honked at me yelled "Watch it you dumb bitch!" And stuck his middle finger out the window at me.

"Damn dude, who pissed in your cereal?" I yelled back, flipping him back off

I finally reached a safe place to look for a taxi

It took a while but I ended up getting a taxi later on.

"Where to, love?" The lady in the front asked
