REGULUS POV
I stood at the sink, tears running down my face. How could he? Sirius had done it again! He promised he wouldn't we were supposed to stay free of self harm together now that we were out of the black family! Both disgraced and disowned..how could he this was supposed to be us doing it together! I've stopped, I've been free for three months, he relapsed yesterday though. When he told me I ran off after telling him it was ok and it wasn't his fault. I may be upset right now but I still know when he needs to hear something like that!

I hear footsteps and crying. Then James walks in. "Regulus..?" We both wipe our tears quickly pretending we weren't crying. "Uh..h-hi James..w-what are you doing here?" I struggle to keep my voice from breaking as more tears threaten to spill. "Remus said it would be best for me to l-leave cause I was crying really hard and that was upsetting Padfoot!" "Oh..he said that?" "Yeah..he's probably right though."

I suddenly break down into tears again. He walks over and hugs me as we both start crying again. "W-we were supposed to do this together!" "I know..but sometimes crap just happens." I nod and he kisses my head. "I love you ok and so does he..he's just having a very hard time." "So am I why didn't he come to me first!" "I don't know maybe he just didn't want to bother you..you know how he thinks regulus." "..I just wish he would have said something." "I do too but he didn't and now we have to comfort him." "Ok." "Good now let's get calmed down and wash our faces then head to the Gryffindor common room..yeah?" "Yeah."

We continue to cry on the floor for a bit until we feel better and then we wash our faces and walk to their common room. When we walk in everyone looks sad and upset. They look at me with sympathetic looks I just look away and James leads me to their dorm. We walk in and see Sirius bawling his eyes out and apologizing. I freeze tears threatening to well up again. James just grabs my hand and gives it a comforting squeeze. "Padfoot..it's not your fault." They both look over. When Sirius sees me he begins to cry harder.

"I'm sorry I'm sorry I broke our promise Reggie I'm so sorry!" I rush over and hug him as tight as I can making him fall back onto the bed with me on top of him. "Stop it, stop it don't apologize it's not your fault! I was upset at first but..I understand I do..I—..uh..I broke the promise a while back." "..What?" They all say it at the same time. "..A week after we made the promise..I broke it..I was so scared and mad at myself that I didn't tell anyone." "Reggie..you can tell me anything you know that right?" "..I know." "Good..now let's remake that promise ok?"

I nod and get off him sitting next to him on James bed. We lock our pinkies together and make the promise again. "I'm sorry I hurt you Reggie." "No..no you shouldn't worry about how I feel..worry about you ok?" "I can't do that..it's in the—." "It's in the big brother code yes I know what you are going to say!" We all laugh and I hug him again. "I love you..and I need you to know that!" "I love you too Reggie."
