"I'm not going to tell you!" I pushed Charlie into a nearby pillar, walking to the dining hall before he squeezed me into another hug from behind.

"Come on, please?" He pouted. I planted a kiss on his frowning lips and squirmed out of his grip.

"We're so late," I took his wrists and pulled him along like a puppy while he whined. He hadn't stopped his enquiries about Cameron's girlfriend after he came down from our heavy session. "You know, I'm kind of offended that you're so invested in his girlfriend when yours is right here."

He ceased his feet, going rock solid and making me lose my momentum. I almost fell flat on my face. I turned back to tell him off but stopped short when I saw the enormous grin on his face.

"You're my girlfriend?" He sounded like a little boy, awaiting the result of his first test. He booped my nose, "You're my girlfriend." He sounded sure now, content with the affirmation.

"God, you're so silly," I started pulling him with me again. The dining hall would close in twenty minutes and we were too preoccupied with each other to realise that our stomachs were empty. When my tummy clenched with hunger, we realised we only had half an hour to fix ourselves enough to eat in front of Mr Nolan.

I was in Charlie's clothes, his shirt and my slacks. I dared him to wear something of mine in turn, and he was sporting a very airy skirt.

We were definitely going to catch Nolan's attention. We just didn't care.

We wolfed down the food from each other's plates, finishing right at the bell. The kitchen lady was kind enough to allow us into the back and finish our dinner. She offered us two tiny muffins before shooing us out of her space when Nolan's haggard voice inched closer.

I was licking off the crumbs from the muffin when we entered the common room. I hadn't realised how alive it was with laughter and gossip until it screeched to an abrupt halt. Seeing Charlie and I standing at the doorway caused a new wave of gossip.

Most of them had assumed we would hide out our days at Welton Academy. To be fair, that would have been the smart choice. But we never were much for the rules.

"Alright, alright," The boy beside me spoke up, his voice booming as if he was speaking over a crowd. "I'm sure you're all dying to know what a filthy kinkster Nolan is. Gather around."

At once, the footsteps followed him like he was their saviour. He led them to a red couch where he sat with his legs spread wide, enjoying the attention and easily blending into his role as God. I shook my head and suppressed a laugh at his antics, instead moving toward the dead poets society.

They were all observing Charlie, debating whether or not they should go over and listen to his embellished tales. I kissed Neil's head as a greeting, then pinched Todd's cheeks until he started giggling. Hugging Knox and then Cameron, I sat perched right in Charlie's sight.

The fucker winked at me before continuing his story.

"You were with him," Neil eyed Charlie and caught the wink. "Don't tell me you're stupid enough to give him a second chance?"

"That would imply he lost his first chance," I turned back to the dead poets, who were all wearing similar expressions of pity and disbelief.

Cameron cleared his throat, "It's none of our business. But I do hope you're happy."

"I am," I smiled at the boy. Following suit, Meeks and Pitts agreed. Knox gave me a thumbs up, knowing more than anyone else. "He might be an idiot, Neil, but he's my idiot."

My brother shook his head, looking dissatisfied at my judgement. Only when Todd interlaced their fingers together, his demeanour softened. The boy could melt my brother with a single touch.
