Death, an armor of pain.

Never I thought, should it suit you today.

Suffocating my bearing, could not you fight?

I want darkness, no love nor feelings; just numbness in its place.

Did you feel pain?

Could it compare to my sick-stricken heart?

Or maybe relief, some of which I have little to feel?

How might I react?

What should you command me to feel?

Fury for abandonment?

Or shall it be continuous grief for my lost love?

My dear, tell me this so; how can a life of memories be destroyed in such minutes?

How I've stayed by your side, never to leave you be.

Do you feel nothing for withering in my arms in your last seconds?

Did or did not our love flash before your eyes?

My love unwavering but my heart is pained; forever lost and broken, yet shall I be condemned if I

were to bound you here with me, curse you to this earth, an a ghastly ghost shadow, a perpetual

reminder of pain, no more or less, shall you call me devil for not allowing your leave?

Oh well, be it so, for you are my love and I'll be bent at your will.

Call I it so, a Black Man as they say, a cursed fool, a man with no face, whatever it be.

For I shall not let go, my tears shall flood your body till the last of mines wither back to dirt.

- Ryuu

P.S. I love you too.

A tear dropped from his eyes as he folded his last letter into a small box holding every conversation he had with Neerangana. Memories swarmed his head from the first day he meet her and he couldn't hold the pressure in his chest any longer; anger, guilt, pain, he felt every emotion but emptiness was his biggest feeling. Before closing the lid, he placed a princess cut diamond ring into it, still holding onto a small bit of hope.
