I rented a small beetle and left my car at the palace. It was ugly but very comfy. I clipped the note to my dashboard and followed the roads I highlighted. My phone rang with an incoming text.

        Dee- 'wya? Time to go'

It's 8:45p. I turned both of my phones off.

9:45p, I made it to the location. I parked the beetle by a nearby hiking trail. Hiking up the hill, the woods were dense but there was a fresh set of footprints. Staying off the path, I followed the path. The buildings should be getting closer.

10:10p. This has gotta be it. There were no buildings. The ground is clear but crowded with vegetation. Nothing could've been here for years. So, where am i? I scouted the area for a bit. Then sat by a near tree to check my map again. I was in the right area but there was nothing. I walked a little more, constantly checking the map.

10:15p. Nothing but wood. Something wasn't right. Why am I feeling uneasy?

10:20p. I came across a stream but nothing else. Looking around once more, I thought about backtracking to the car to readjust my surroundings. Why am I out of breath? I felt as if I was walking in circles.

10:30p. I was back at the clearing I first came to but something was different. Gah. I gasped after being struck. I felt blood trickle from my hair as I fell to my knees, pain radiating through my body. My ears were ringing. Get it together. Trying to get up, another blow came to my neck and I was out.

10:45p. I'm in the trunk of a truck. My watch is cracked but is still working. I tried to kick the lights out but they barely bugged. My hands and feet were chained.

10:50p. The lid popped. My vision is blurry, like I was drugged.

10:55p. We're in a building. There's a lot of noise and movement; I came in and out of consciousness. My right leg feels broken and my ribs must be broken again.

11:00p. They're hooking me to a machine but I can't tell what it is. I keep a track of the time.

11:05p. "It's been a long time," a strange voice speaks, "do you remember me?" I know that voice.

"Of course you don't. We haven't formally met. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Yang Su," the man stated. Trying to clear up my vision, I glared at the man until I could get a view of his face.

"You finally came out of hiding, huh?" I croaked as my voice slowly made its way back.

"Oh no, my dear. I was never in hiding. You just never saw me," Yang Su walked to another machine beside me. There were men and machines stationed all around me. I was in a large lab.

"Cut to the chase. Why do you have me in this thing and what do you really want?"

"I see you have never been told the truth,"

"What truth?" I hissed

"The truth about what you are and your mother," he stated. This was getting old.

"What are you talking 'bout?"

"Let me tell you the story-"

"Ain't nobody got time for no damn bedtime story,"

"You were a couple of months old when we met," Yang Su begin his story.

"Are you serious?" I whaled. Grandpa is really starting to agitate my nerves.

"Your father brought you to me. We were working on a project together and we needed a strong human vessel at its purest form. We first started with Sen Su but she wasn't strong enough and the process caused a lot of damage to her. That's why she is so dumb now," Yang Su paced slowly in front of me. Wow, now I just feel sorry for her.
