WE SHOULD THINK of code names. ❞ Raven suggested. "We're government agents now. We should have secret code names."

Radley bite back the urge to roll her eyes at the woman. She sat back in silence, along with Alex, as she listened to them debate back and forth.

She had been the last one to join, and had only said anything when they were introducing themselves.

Radley shifted uncomfortably as she stared up at the building in front of them. She wasn't too fond of the whole C.I.A. part of the deal. All it took was one quick search of her name and she would be found out and arrested.

Well, she would probably be taken to a lab instead, know that they knew what she could do.

She eyed the building suspiciously as Charles made his way to stand beside of her. "It's okay, Radley."

She scoffed at his attempts to ease her.

"What you did wasn't on purpose." Her head snapped sideways to look at him, eyes wide. "You don't have anything to be afraid of."

Her face hardened into a glare. Charles inhaled deeply. He had taken a gamble bringing up what he had seen in her mind. He gestured his head toward the building. "Come on."

But before he could get very far, she grabbed him by the inside of his elbow, yanking him back towards her. He winced slightly at the feeling of her hands heating up.

Radley quickly realized and let him go, but not before saying what she needed too. "This is your only warning." She threatened.

"If you ever, get inside my head again, I'll burn you alive."

The sound of the group collectively letting out a sound of surprise drew Radley back to reality. She furrowed her brows, turning to see what had happened.
