Estonia's POV

*Phone alarm noises*
"Is it 7:00 o'clock already?" I thought before getting out of bed. I was really excited for the day, since the sun was shining. And (hopefully) I would make a new friend today. Soome seems really cool, and she has a similar language to mine! I've never met someone with a language so similar to mine. So I'm hoping that she will enjoy my company.

France's POV
When Estonie came to work today she seemed extra happy, I wonder why. But It's not my business. Yet I couldn't help but be curious. So when she was putting on her apron I walked up to her.
"Estonie, why so happy?" I asked.
"Oh I'm having lunch with someone I know, her name is Soome, or Finland in English". She answered and I could see a smile light up her face.
"Oh, her. She's really good friends with Allemagne, and often comes to the cafe . I'm surprised you only met her now." I said, giving a light giggle at the end.

Estonia's POV

Saksamaa's friend? I guess I'll ask him for some more info then. I want to know a bit about her before lunch, and he seems like a good person to ask.

"Saksamaa?" I ask over Germanys shoulder.
"Ja?" He answers clearly confused
"You know about Finland right?"
"Oh, her. She's the second youngest in the Nordic family, with Iceland as the youngest and Denmark as the oldest. She works as a journalist at HS, and her favourite colour is blue, and she strongly dislikes red. You can usually find her in her room or-"
"Okei, okei. You can stop now, I don't need to know her entire life story" I say before he can say anything more.
"Begnadigung (apologies)" He says, while looking really embarrassed.

He was like this with everyone. Giving more details then what you asked for. It was actually really cute, but I don't know why he does it though.

It was finally lunchtime, and Finland was already sitting by a table close to a window. I took off my apron and ran to her.
"Tere!" I said louder then I intended.
"Moi" She said in a calm voice.
I sat down on a chair opposite of her.

"So how has your day been?" I asked
"It's been... nice. A little stressful, since I have a really important article I need to finish before tomorrow." She answered
"We'll, edu(good luck)!" I said and smiled.
"Kiitos. How has your day been." She asked while giving a small smile.
"It's been great!! And I have a feeling that it's going to be even better after this lunch!"

Oh god, I shouldn't have said that. Now she's going to think that I've completely fallen in love with her. Which I have NOT... I think? No I haven't, I don't like girls. But if that's so why do I want to be with her every second of everyday? I haven't even known her for more than a day. But every word I hear her say makes me so happy, it makes me excited, and nervous at the same time.

Even I if I did like her, I doubt she'd like me back. Because she's so pretty and cool, and I'm just some boring country working at a cafe.

"Haloo?" I hear someone say.

I instantly snapped out of my daydreaming, I didn't even notice I zoned out.

"Jah?" I answered.
"No, It was just that you zoned out. Is everything okay? I can leave if you want me to." She said worried.
"Ei, ei , ei! It's okay, I'm just a bit tired, that's all." I said, trying not to make her worry even more.
"Ai, okei" she answered, clearly relieved.

I don't know how, but after a while we were having an actual conversation. And it was wonderful. Everything she said was so calm and nice, but still somehow mysterious. I could listen to her for HOURS! But I was the one talking the most. People often commented that I was "annoying" for talking so much or that "I should let others say something as well". But she wasn't like that, she was listening. And seemed happy doing it. She actually listened to what I had to say, not for a single moment did I think that, maybe she was thinking about something or being distracted. She was just there, sometimes responding to what I had to say. She was my prefect friend, and I was determined to be hers.
