Setting Sun (mikey x reader)

- the encounter -

(READER P.O.V) 

Every since the night of the winter moon, when i saw him, something had changed exponentially within me, it's been 2 months since the incident, i now live in an apartment away from my parents, they both are working out of the country so they preferred I live near my school, so i'm now living in Shibuya. 

I've started going to school but it's nothing out of the ordinary, it's an absolute headache if i'm being honest. I started visiting the Musashi Shrine everyday but only in early mornings, i don't want to encounter that guy ever again, what he made me feel is something i don't ever want to feel again, it was a suffocating feeling. 

After i came back from school, i took a nap, a nap that lasted 3 hours, and it was already late evening, i didn't want to cook right now so i decided to get something from the convenience store. I dressed warmly since it was quite cold still, i wore an oversized black hoodie and joggers and set out for a long walk. 

It was a fairly relaxing walk, i picked up some stuff from the convenience store and decided to take a longer route to my place, i didn't want to return so early. 

The road i took to walk was quite ominous, there was utter silence but the street lights made it bearable, it was then when I heard two girls screaming for help, i immediately ran towards the sound, but i knew something was wrong and in order to help them i had to be careful otherwise i would be no help to them just another prey. So i hid behind a pole that was broad enough to hide my entire figure, i tilted my head towards the scene so i can deduce the situation and my next possible step. 

There were two girls on the ground, one with short pink hair perhaps? and the other with long blonde hair, they seemed very familiar to me, but now's not the time to think about those things. They were badly beaten up, the short haired girl's forehead was bleeding and the other girl was getting strangled, there were 2 men who looked like they were in high school. 

"LEAVE EMMA CHAN!!!!!" The short haired girl shouted as the man kept on strangling the blonde girl named Emma.

 It was at this moment I realized that I had my phone, if i decided to call the police it would take them a shit long time to arrive and until then the girls would be done for, but then i decided to open Youtube and play a Police siren audio and since I was quite near the vicinity of them the audio was more than enough to scare the shit out of those two goons, fucking cowards. As soon as they heard the sound they started to make a run for it and dropped the blonde girl on the ground. 

"LET YOUR PRECIOUS BROTHER KNOW OF THIS INVITE!!!!" the guy shouted as he ran in the opposite direction. I immediately ran towards the both. 

"ARE YOU BOTH ALRIGHT?!!!"  the blonde girl kept on coughing considering she was strangled for a long time period, so the short haired girl replied on her behalf. 

"We're okay. Is the police really coming?" 

"No, i played that sound on my phone and those goons ran away." 

"Thank you so much for saving us." 

"Save the thanks for later, you must come with me to the Hospital, you are injured." 

"N-no need for that miss, we're not that badly hurt." The blonde girl replied. 

"Are you kidding me? Look at yourselves you two, your head is bleeding and the other one got strangled to death." 

"We don't want to go to the hospital, we assure you we are alright."

"Since you two are being so stubborn, you both are coming with me to my house, let me at least tend to your wounds and if it's too severe we are going to the hospital, and you both don't have a choice, i'm the one who saved you." 

"a-alright." 

Me and the short haired girl carefully walked the blonde haired girl to my house, luckily my place wasn't too far away, so it was a short walk, i was extremely worried about these two for some unknown reason. 

"You both sit there, i'll bring the medicines." 

"Miss what's your name?" The short haired girl asked. 

"Kobayashi Y/N, you call me Y/n." 

"KOBAYASHI??? Is your father Ren Kobayashi???" 

"Yeah he is, that doesn't matter, first let me tend to your wounds, this might sting a little but don't move too much." I replied as i tended to her wounds, luckily the wound wasn't severe and a simple bandage would do. 

"Is your neck okay? Do you need some water?" I asked the blonde girl. 

"It's alright, it just hurts a bit but i'll be okay, anyways I am Emma and she's Hina." 

"It's nice to meet you both." i replied with a soft smile on my face. 

"Thank you for saving us, i don't know what would have happened if you hadn't showed up when you did." Hina said. 

"Please, there is no need for thanks Hina, i had to help you that's something i won't hesitate to do and i'm pretty sure you won't if you ever saw me in that situation." 

"That's true." 

"Y/N Chan, what's your age?" Emma asked. 

"I'm 17 and what about you Emma?" 

"We both are 16, a year younger than you." 

"Now Now, both of you don't you have to call someone to come pick you up? It's very late you know? Your parents or friends must be worried, you can take my phone and call them." 

"Yes, you are right." 

"Hina call Takemichi-kun, i can't deal with draken on the phone right now, he would ask a million questions, just call Takemichi-kun and ask him to pick us up, will deal with others later." 

"Yeah you are right, Draken-kun would indeed ask a million questions." Hina replied with a soft giggle. 

"There you go... take my phone, i'll be making some coffee for you both." 

"Thank you Y/N chan."

"Have you called them Hina?" 

"Yes, thank you so much for your help." 

"again with the thank you?  Just have your coffee." I said as i sat next to both of them on the couch. 

"Is the coffee to your liking Emma and Hina?" I asked, even though i learnt the art from the best, i still have my doubts. 

"It's delicious Y/N Chan." 

"It really is." 

"I'm glad, now relax while we wait for your friends." 

"I can't help but sigh thinking about how your entire house is about to be filled with at least 10 people Y/N chan, i'm apologizing in advance." Hina said as she sighed. 

"10 people? You both of have that many friends??" I asked with my eyes wide open.

"Well, you will understand soon." Emma replied, just then we heard the aggressive bell ringing, their friends must be quite worried. I rose up to open the door. 

"That has to be mikey-kun, Emma chan" But i didn't hear what they both said. I opened the door and i was greeted by innumerable amount of people, my god i had never seen so many people at once ever before. But despite the commotion i saw someone, someone i knew i had seen before, my heart dropped, i stopped in my tracks, my breathing halted, my eyes wide open, it was Mikey.
