"MIKEY!!!" I called out, I knew despite keeping a hard exterior, Mikey was a bit taken aback but I quite didn't know why.

"Y/N, I'll speak with you later." I ran towards him and held his hand.

"Very unfair when things happened with me you were there to hear me out, so now i'm doing the same thing, and don't you dare push me away."

"Alright...I can't argue with you... let's walk." He said with a slight smile on his face.

"So what's wrong?"

"I don't know, something about this whole situation feels off while I personally didn't want to fight with these phantom groups myself but I feel very apprehensive about Toman's future, we are already at the top so is it a good time to stop and disband?"

"So disband it." I asserted but Mikey's facial expressions changed when I said that.

"Maybe that's what I should do but..."

"You don't want to let them go right?"

"Yeah, I've already lost them once i can't lose them again." I was taken aback by what he said, what did that even mean, but for some reason I couldn't ask him.

"Hey would like to have some coffee at my place?"

"Your place?"

"Oh come on...you badly need it and by the way I make good coffee so rest assured."

"Alright let's go." He smiled.

"Come in." I said.

"Now that I finally take a good look at this, this place is huge for one person."

"Uh yeah, my parents forced me to stay here but that's just an excuse they wanted a bigger place just so they could stay here with me when they want." I sighed.

"Well I think that's adorable."

"Mikey look I know what happened today is something you probably don't want to talk about and I won't force you, take your time and tell me when you are ready. I'm here to always hear you out." I smiled.

"I know Y/N, for some odd reason I trust you it feels like I can tell you."

"Hey, you can take your time...For now let's brew some coffee."

"Sure."

"So Y/N, how about we try to get to know each other better?"

"Hmmmm.. that's not a bad idea, but how do you suggest we do that?"

"Let's play a game, I ask you one question and you ask me one. We both have to answer honestly."

"Done, you start."

"Your favorite color?"

"Red."

"That's actually very..."

"Hm? Why?"

"I mean I've never seen you wear red or anything related to red."

"That's true, I don't wear much of red or keep anything of that color but I still like it, weird right?"

"No, not at all. Your turn Y/N."

"Your best friend?"

"Ken-Chin. Don't tell them him though, it's our little secret." Mikey winked at me.

"Don't worry, I won't."

"Hm, Y/N who's your best friend?"

"Me? No one Mikey to be honest ever since I've lost my memories I don't really remember anyone but I think the past me didn't really have any that's why even after my accident no one really approached me. And I don't even have any pictures of any friends as such."

"Now that's changed, you have all of us."

"Yeah, I do." For some reason I felt hesitant to say that.

"Mikey you can choose not to answer this, it's definitely on you..."

"Hm? Come on just ask."

"Where are your parents? I never really saw them when I came to your place." I saw Mikey's face darken and the atmosphere now tense. He took a huge break before answering.

"My dad passed away not quite long after I was born, my mom was with me for some time after that but she passed away too. But you know I never truly felt their absence, grandpa took care too well of us. Now with him gone, I feel the absence of them all. But I still have Toman so it's all good."

"Mikey, you've grown up so well haven't you? With so many obstacles, you never let that get to you."

"No, that's not true many times I've let myself down, I've let grandpa down but one thing I knew that I could not give up. This life that was given to me, I would never give up on it so easily again." There again Mikey spoke as if he had done something like this in the past, but I don't understand what he means when he says these things, what I do know is that he's gone through a lot of pain and he still is perhaps.

I went to Mikey who was sitting on the chair, I kneeled down and looked at him.

"Mikey I don't know what obstacles you went through, what pain you had to endure, how many tears you have shed, how many times you had wished everything just ended. But you pushed through, yes your grandpa, toman everyone helped you but don't give yourself any less credit you were the one who pushed through, you endured it all and still came out so strong and so kind. Always and always remember... that I'm so proud of you. I can never truly understand your pain but I'm always here to hear out and face it with you." Mikey just kept staring at me as if he no one had really told him that ever.

"That's the first time anyone has ever told me that...Thank you Y/N, it means a lot."

"Of course anytime, now let me check up on the coffee real quick." I ran back to the counter.

What the hell is happening? Why is my heart beating so fast? What are you doing to me Y/N. Mikey thought.

"Here's your coffee, Y/N special."

"Holy shit."

"What is it that bad?"

"This is the best coffee I've ever had."

"Oh come on, stop being so modest."

"I'm being honest, this is fucking good."

"Well well, thank you Mr. Sano." We both let out a soft giggle.

If time could just stop right now, I wouldn't mind it.
