It's crazy how the world can change so fast. One second you're in your room and then you're in the mountains somewhere in Atlanta with people you don't know. And Scarlett Peletier was scared. But she had to be strong. For her sister and mother. She didn't really care about her father. He could rot and she wouldn't care. But she had to be brave. For them. Her family. And of course there were the people they found along the way. The Clark's and Grimes family were different then everyone else. Scar actually let them in. She didn't want to. Slowly but surely they made their way into Scarlett's heart. And they were there to stay
Scarlett was with her little sister, Sophia in her tent. They were sat side by side, looking at Scar's drawing in her sketchbook. Harper had found it on a run and gave it to her. Right now Scar was showing her little sister some drawings she had done
"Is that me?" Sophia asked innocently, pointing at the drawing of her and Carl. Scarlett smiled at her gently, nodding her head
"Yeah that's you. You like it?"
Sophia nodded with a smile on her face. Scarlett flipped the page, smiling when it showed an unfinished drawing of Ellie and Harper. Sophia leaned her head on her sisters shoulder, whispering to her quietly, "Are you going to give that to Ellie?"
Scarlett nodded her head, the smile never leaving her face as she thought about the girl. She flipped the page back over to the drawing of Sophia and Carl, ripping it out and handing it to her sister. "Why don't you go show Carl the drawing. I bet he'll love it." Sophia grabbed it and nodded her head excitedly. She hugged Scar tightly before jumping up and running out of the tent. Scarlett laughed when she heard Sophia shouting Carls name. She was glad her little sister had someone her own age around camp.

Harper was sitting outside the RV beside Dale, sharpening her knife when they heard a voice come through the radio. The two rushed over and stood behind Amy as she responded, "Hey. Hello?"
"Can you hear my voice?"
"Yes, I can hear you. Y-You're coming through. Over."
"If anybody reads, please respond."
"We're just outside the city."
The radio crackled as it went in and out, "Damn it-" Amy paused, trying the fix the channel, "Hello? Hello?"
Harper turned away and walked inside the RV, sitting down in the passenger seat. She sighed as she closed her eyes. Wishing her Uncle Rick was there. The voice on the radio sounded like him but she knew it wasn't. For the last month she felt like she was going crazy. Because he was dead. Her little sister, Ellie was more quiet since he died. She would only ever talk around her and the two kids her age at the camp. But most of the time she would sit by herself and either write or take pictures on an old camera Harper found. She took a sharp breath in, shallowing the sobs that so desperately wanted out as she walked out of the RV. Climbing up the latter and sitting on the chair, closing her eyes as she finally relaxed.
