Chapter Twelve. FINAL CHAPTER!

Chapter Twelve

Dougie made his way from his spot a few feet away from Rain and Rose and over to the couch where they were sitting.

He smiled shyly at her and whispered "Hello" and sat down next to her on the couch. Libby took it as a chance to get off with Harry and talk to him.

"Hiyah" Rain said with a sweet smile.

"We need to talk" Dougie said slowly, Rain looked up at him with afraid eyes, afraid of what he wanted to talk to her about.

Maybe this would be the time she would tell him the secret, about who's Rose's father?

She nodded slowly and signed for them to go somewhere no one could hear them.

She showed him the way outside and they sat down on some benches.

Dougie pulled out his pack of marblo smokes, he took one out and put in his mouth, he pulled the pack over to Rain asking if she wanted one.

"I don't smoke anymore" she said and shook her head.

"Do you mind if I smoke one?" he asked, didn't want to smoke unless she was ok with it.

"I don't mind, smoke if you want to" she said giving him a small smile.

He took out his lighter and lit the smoke he had in his mouth and inhaled the smoke, held it in for a while before he exhaled it.

"What was it you wanted to talk about?" she asked after a moment in silence. He looked up at her with a questionable look on his face.

"oh yeah. You know that night 3 years ago? Or was it longer?" he said asking.

"Ehm yeah, that night we met in the pub?" she wondered and Dougie nodded in reply.

"I didn't realise who you were until we came to your place, and when I left, I felt my heart break into a million pieces like it did when you said you broke up with me the day I moved to London." Dougie said taking another drag of the smoke.

Rain didn't know what to answer, she had no idea he felt it like that.

"I love you Rain, and I find myself loving you more now than I did when I joined the band" he continued looking down on the ground.

"Oh" Rain said into her breath, Dougie looked up at her with disbelief in his eyes, that wasn't the reaction he was expecting.

"I don't want you to break up with your boyfriend to come rush back into my arms because I want you to, but I just wanted you to know, I still love you, and I will always love you" He said looking into her hazel eyes.

He was about to rise up from the bench and leave when she grabbed his arm and pulling him back down to the bench.

He turned his head to look at her and was surprised by their lips crashing, his eyes closed and started to kiss her.

The moment he had been longing for for 3 years where finally here, he kissed her and she kissed back. He felt like he was in heaving flying on a pink cloud of happiness.

They broke the kiss and pulled away from each other, a smile were spreading over both of their faces.

"I don't have a boyfriend, my arms are open if you want to come back to me, if the offer of your arms being open are still open though" Rain said smiling.

"I love you" Was all Dougie could say before he crashed his lips onto hers and kissed her passionately.

"But who's Rose's father then?" Dougie asked confused.

Rain looked at him with sparkling hazel eyes and giggled.

"She's yours, you're her father" she said laughing.

Dougie looked confused, he was confused, he didn't know what to say.

"What? Mine? I'm the father? Huh?" he said confused.

Rain giggled and nodded her head with a smile all over her face.

"Does that mean, I'm a father, and you're single, unless you want to be mine again of course though, and I don't know what more to say" Dougie said, all his words came out in one mess and could confuse everyone, except from Rain, she understood him all the time, no matter what it was, she would understand him.

"Yes, Yes, Yes" she said and kissed him softly on the lips again.

After their talk outside, they walked back inside, hand in hand, with a silly smile on both of their faces.

Everyone knew what had happened and they didn't care if they knew or didn't, as long as they were back together and they had their daughter together they were the happiest couple and family alive.
