Nancy was getting dressed to go to the airport and greet Jonathan when he got there when she heard a light knock on her door. She opened it to see you brother standing there. "Take me with you! Please.. I'll even take my car!" Mike pleaded he wanted to see the byers again but he mainly wanted to see will byers, his best friend. Only reason he was asking Nancy even with his car he didn't remember the way to the airport he didn't think it was important the first time he went so he didn't bother trying to remember since he wasn't the one driving at that time.

Nancy sighed as she rolled her eyes. "Get dressed." Mike's dark hair fell into his face as he quickly hugged his sister. "Thanks Nancy! You won't regret it I promise!!" He yelled before running off to his room.

Entering his room it was full of movie posters, in the middle of the posters was the painting will had given him. he had a guitar propped up against his wall, he'd gotten it from Eddie Munson and valued it as if it were priceless. There were clothes all over his floor which he really needed to clean up and His closet was slightly a jar.

He searched through his drawers until he found some black ripped jeans and a black Sabbath t-shirt Eddie'd given him since it didn't fit the older male anymore. He messed with his hair fixing it up a little bit.

He made his way to the bathroom splashed some water on his face and took a deep breath. He hadn't realized how excited he was to see Will again.

Everything with Vecna was over so Joyce decided they'd move back to Hawkins. Mike felt giddy at just the thought of the boy but he hadn't sent any letter as he was simply drained from everything with Vecna. he couldn't muster up the energy to write.

He hardly hung out with Dustin and Lucas only really seeing them at school and at hellfire. It was clear they were all still getting over everything that happened in the upside down. Mike was suffering from nightmares, Dustin was still having a hard time comprehending everything that happened and Lucas was spending all his time with Max making up for the time they lost just as friends now though. Lucas and Max decided not to get back together.

"Mike come on! El will love you no matter what you look like!" Mike smiled and rolled his eyes. "coming Nance!" He rushed out of the bathroom to meet his sister down stairs. "Ready?" She asked. "Ready." He responded with a bright smile she hadn't seen in a long time.

Will sighed as he packed up the last of his things, he was finally going back to Hawkins, to his friends..to Mike. He shook the thought out of his head he knew that Mike and El were still dating and wouldn't get in the way of his sisters happiness.

"Hey Will, you alright you seem kinda quiet today?" El asked as she came up behind Will. "Yeah I'm alright just thinking about Hawkins and our friends."

"Anything interesting?" She asked trying to get him to tell her stuff. "Just wondering how much things have changed, that's all." El nodded understandingly. "Me too."

Will looked down at his hands that rested on the box. "I can't believe we're gonna see everyone again. Sure Hawkins sucked but I really missed Mike, Dustin, and Lucas." He felt the tears well up in his eyes as he thought about the boys. They weren't tears of sadness but ones of happiness.

"Will don't cry you'll make me cry!" El joked when she heard Will sniffle quietly. "I'm sorry!" He laughed and wiped his eyes. They had no one to say goodbye to in Lenora because they had no real friends there.
