Chapter 1- The "Regular" Day

Hey I'm hopedar. But you can call me Hope. This my first story I've ever written on a website. I hope you all enjoy. Since this is my first story I hope you like it and criticism is appreciated but hate is not. Not everything is going to be the same. I'm not sure of all of the characters but I think everyone will be pleased by the end. I'm holding you up so on with the story. Btw this is going to be Laura's P.O.V unless said otherwise and now with my story.

Cock-a-doodle doo. Cock-a-doodle doo. Ugh stupid alarm always so annoying but helpful in times of need like the first day of Sophomore year. Yup you heard it. I, Laura Marano, is in high school. Finally. I know most people would be like " Your happy about bring in high school?" But I'm just getting closer about being on my own.

"Laura turn that damn alarm off!" Yelled my sister, Jessica.

Jessica is my older sister. She's a senior so I rarely ever see her at school. She's the type of sister that always keeps you on your toes, always want to try something new and speak her mind (even without being asked).

I turn off my alarm and get out of bed and walk into my bathroom that is connected to my room. I take a quick shower letting the water roll down my back as I wash my body and my hair. When I'm finished I start doing my hair. I like to do my hair in what I call "wild". It's just my hair really curly. Over the summer I got my ends dyed blonde so that way it has an hombre effect due to my chestnut hair. (Look at the cover) I put on some blue skinny jeans and a white button down shirt with a mustard yellow jacket and my brown knee high boots.

"Laura, Jessica! Breakfast is ready hurry up before it's time to go to school!" My mother yelled from down stairs. I checked the time.

6:15

Ugh I have to hurry up if I want to meet Connor before school starts. I run downstairs and grab a banana and headed for the front door. I put my hand on the handle and was about to walk out the door until I heard the two voices I didn't want to hear right now. My mother and father.

" Where do you think you are going young lady?" My father asked. My father is one of the best dad's in the world. He makes the best food ever and he supports me with everything, school-wise. Things like who I hang out with and the people I talk to (not that there is many) he doesn't really approve of but I have a good way of him not knowing. Just a little white lie here and there.

"I'm going to school early so my friends and I can check out our classes." I say only partially lying. Connor and I really are going to check our classes but we're also going to be helping out in the office and I didn't want my dad to get the wrong idea about us being alone in an office. My dad and mom looked at me. I almost forgot my mom was still in the room. Then my dad clapped. Loudly. And stopped me from thinking anything else.

"Okay honey. We'll see you after school." He says giving me a hug and kissing me on my forehead and walking back to the table to drink his probably now cold coffee. And now I'm confused as hell and by the looks of it so is my mother but she just shook her head dismissively and gave me hug.

"Love you." I say as I walk out the front door with Jessica following behind me with food stuffed in her mouth.

"Love you too!" They scream as I close the door. Jessica and I made our way to the school and should be there by 8:35. Just like any other Regular Day.
