Chapter 27- Hope

"Last night at work someone complained that customer service didn't fixed their broken coffee maker so when I  tried to explain to her that customer service is where you file your complaints she started to yell at me about how she's not dumb then she hung up after talking about oatmeal." I told Hope and she laughed. 

I met Hope like an half hour ago and we really hit it off. Right now we're just talking and walking around the school before we head to pur homeroom. She's a very easy person to talk to. She's very passionate about writing and kids. She told me she's the oldest and she has 3 siblings. She lives with her mom and her mother's boyfriend since her mom and her father broke up.

She has Brown eyes and dark skin. She has long black hair and an edgy style. Some people would be intimidated by her but she she's really fun and talkative.

"So Laura got any type of romance going on with you?" She asked. I nodded my head with a smile.

"Yeah his name is Ross. We started dating at the begining of the school he such a sweetheart and he has all the same classes as us so you'll probably get to talk to him." I said and she nodded.

"How long until school starts?"

"In about 5 minutes the school is going to open and we can head to class." I said.

"Can we head to my locker now?" And with that we head to Hope's locker which is conveniently across from mine. She put her stuff away and we heard the bell telling us that the school was opening and people came rushing in but Hope and I just stayed by the lockers.

"Can I tell you something Hope?"

"Yeah sure. What's up?"

"I think my best friend and Ross are keeping something from me?" 

"Well I think if they were truly your friends then they would tell you what was going on. But don't assume and jump to conclusions. Maybe it's nothing at all. What do you think they are hiding?"

"I think that Ross is seeing someone else. Like there's this senior that works where they work, at the ice cream shop, and I think him and her have something going on."

"Has he ever gave you a reason to think that they have something going on?" She asked and I thought about it.

"Well no-"

"Then you shouldn't worry about it. Over-thinking tends to over complicate things." She said with a matter of fact voice. I sigh. I would hate to over complicate things.  I really like Ross.

"If you want I can test him. See how faithful he really is." She said and I became unsure. 

"I don't know. I don't want to come off as if I don't trust him. But I do want to see how he will react. Okay fine. Test him just dont go overboard with it."

"Yes! I see people do this kind if stuff all the time. I've been wanting to try this." 

"Okay lets wait until he gets here to try it." She nodded. I like Hope. She's a cool girl. I'm kind of excited to test Ross
