Amelia knew how she and Cain had managed to keep their relationship quiet. The last thing she needed was Kim finding out.

Amelia knew her mum. And she knew what she was like. She would demand Graham end Cain. Amelia knew how Cain made her happy.

She knew all that she had been through with Joe. How he almost broke her. But she was glad she had Cain now.

She knew that she didn't want to lose him. So she was doing everything she could to keep her relationship a secret from her mum.

All she knew was that it was getting a lot harder to keep things quiet. Especially as things were heating up with them both.

Morning came all too quickly for her. She groaned as she climbed out of bed. She left the bedroom to see Grace. "Walk of shame?" Amelia asked.

Grace turned to her. "Don't ask. It's better if you don't ask," she told her.

Amelia smirked. she looked to her. "I won't tell don't worry. But be careful. I don't want you getting hurt."

Grace rolled her eyes. "I'm the big sister. I should be worrying about you."

"I'm almost seventeen . My turn to worry about you," Amelia said as she hugged her sister.

Grace smiled and held her close. "You know, you're an amazing sister. Shame mum found you under the funny tree," she joked.

"You're mean."

Amelia was walking through the village. She looked to see Cain as he stood outside the garage. She walked over to him and grinned. "Hey."

"Hey. Your birthday soon? Want to get out of here for a couple of days?" Cain asked.

Amelia nodded and smiled. "Sounds good. I'd love to."

Cain smiled and kissed her cheek. "Leave it with me. I'll book us an hotel room and we can hide away."

"Do I get to have you?"

"All night babe," Cain said as he kissed her again.

Amelia smiled. She was finally happy in her life. After all that had happened with Joe was finally behind her. And she was happy.

Amelia walked into home farm. She saw Graham there and sighed. She saw the look on his face. "What's got you all agitated?"

"You. And Cain Dingle. Does your mother know?" Graham asked as he looked to her.

Amelia paled. She turned to face him. "There's nothing going on with Cain and I. I'm allowed to talk to people. There's no crime in that," she said.

Graham looked to her and smirked. "So he isn't taking you away after your birthday? Or did I misunderstand?"

"You don't know what you're talking about. So back off."

Grace walked in. She frowned. "What's going on? I can hear you two from upstairs," she said as she looked between them.

Amelia shook her head. "Nothing. He's just interfering in my life. He's not my dad. And he needs to stop," she said.

Grace turned to Graham. She sighed. "Leave her alone. You promised you'd stop meddling. So stop it," she told him.

Amelia was sitting in her bedroom when Kim walked in. She smiled. "Hey. I've been planning your birthday. I can't wait for you to see it," she said.

Amelia looked to her and smiled. But she had no idea how it was all about to go completely wrong for her. Especially when secrets came spilling out from everyone in her family.
