The couple ran to the big crowd that had formed.
They both pushed passed people so they could see. Lo'ak was getting off an ilu, thanking the na'vi for bringing him back.

Lo'ak looked around and found Omui in the crowd. He was angry. Who the fuck leaves someone outside of the reef? Omui lied to Lo'ak. What a bitch.

He shook his head and started to walk over to Omui to give him a peace of his mind, before Jake dismounted his ilu and stopped him.

"Hey, hey, let's have a look at you." Jake said trying to ease the tension.

"He's fine, he's fine. Just a few scratches." Jake said looking at Tonowari and Ronal.

Neytiri then came pushing through the crowd, sighing with relief.

"I pray for the strength I will not pluck the eyeballs out of my youngest son." Neytiri said, making a claw with her hand, hissing at Lo'ak.

"No. Omui is at fault for this," Tonowari said, forcing Omui down onto one knee.
"You would think he knew better. He is already punished." Tonowari said glaring at Omui.

Neteyam wanted to kill him so bad. First his mate, then his brother. He's asking to be killed!

Ivä noticed how tense Neteyam is. She interlaced their hands with each others, looking up, giving him a small grin. He gave her one back as he calmed down.

"Let's go." Jake said, pushing Lo'ak to move forward.

(I'm going to make the storyline a little bit different.)

They Sully's and Ivä all left the crowd. They all silently walked to the Sully's Mauri. Once they got in there, everyone sat down to talk to Lo'ak.

"So... how'd it happen?" Jake asked, starting the discussion.

"I was out with Anoung and rotxo, sir," Lo'ak and looking down.
"They had to go, so they said goodbye, and left. I was just looking around, when Omui came out of no where." Lo'ak explained.

Ivä was confused on why Omui was even out. He wasn't allowed to be out and about, he was punished to be a full time worker.

"He told me he wanted to show me something cool. He started leading me out of the reef. I told him I'm not allowed. He told me it would be very quick. And I foolishly listened. Then.. you know.. he-"

"Left you outside the reef." Jake said finishing Lo'ak's sentence.

Even though it wasn't Lo'ak's fault, he felt ashamed. Once a screw up, always a screw up.

Kiri put a reassuring hand on Lo'ak's shoulder.

Tuk got up from Neytiri's lap and gave Lo'ak a hug. Usually he complains, but this time, he really needed it.

"Well we're glad you're safe." Neytiri said with a small smile.

It was super late, so everyone decided to go to bed. Ivä and Neteyam said their goodbyes, and everyone except for Lo'ak went to their rooms.

Ivä noticed and wanted them to have a "brother bonding moment", so she lightly grabbed Neteyam's arm, nodding her head to the door, telling him she'll be outside.

Neteyam nodded, then turned his attention back to Lo'ak. Neteyam felt the need to apologize, even though he couldn't do anything about the situation.

"Lo'ak... I'm sorry I wasn't there." Neteyam said looking away from Lo'ak's gaze.

"Bro, there is nothing to be sorry for." Lo'ak said shaking his head.

"I know but dad-"

"I don't care what dad tells you to do," Lo'ak said cutting Neteyam off.

"I'm seventeen. I can take care of myself. You don't need to supervise my every move. So if he has a problem with that, then he can talk to me." Lo'ak said. He was tired of always being supervised by his brother like he was two years old. He knew it wasn't his brothers choice to watch him, Neteyam was just doing what he was told.

Neteyam let out a small chuckle.

"I love you." Neteyam said putting his hand onto of Lo'ak's head.

"I love you too, bro." Lo'ak said back.

And with that, the brothers parted their ways.

Neteyam walked outside of the Mauri to see Ivä sitting on the edge of the bridge, looking at the water.

When she heard him come out, she looked up to see him standing over her.

"All done?" Ivä asked quietly.

"Mhm." He said grinning.

Ivä almost fell asleep sitting there. Not because Neteyam was taking long, but because she has been so worried for Lo'ak and running around all night, that she was worn out.

Neteyam could tell that she was tired. When Ivä got up, she started walking to their Mauri, but Neteyam spun her around, and picked her up.

Ivä's legs wrapped around his waist and her arms wrapped around his neck. She rested her head in the crook or his neck, smelling his calming scent.

She didn't dare to complain because she knew that she probably wouldn't make it all the way back. She was so glad Neteyam noticed.

Neteyam started to carry her back to their Mauri. He felt Ivä playing with his braids, but he didn't say anything. He actually enjoyed the feeling.

Soon they arrived at their Mauri. Neteyam slowly, and carefully, lowered Ivä down to the bed. He hovered over her, kissing her softly.

"Thank you." Ivä said.

"For what baby?" Neteyam asked.

"For carrying me back. You didn't have to." Ivä said running her hand down his arm.

"But I wanted to. Don't thank me for something every mate should do." Neteyam said leaning down to kiss her again, causing Ivä to smile to herself.

He rolled over to his side, pulling the cover over them both. Ivä scooted closer to Neteyam resting her head on his chest. Neteyam wrapped his arm around her waist.

"I love you." Ivä said before she fell alseep.

"I love you more baby." Neteyam said softly.

The whole Lo'ak situation made him forget all about what his dad told him. Get ready for war.
He was going to tell Ivä when they were alone, but the horn sounded, causing him to think about other things.

He needs to tell her tomorrow. He can't keep that from his mate, the tribe. Jake told Tonowari he was done with war, but look at them now.

The war has found them. Time was ticking. Soon, all of their happy moments will be over.

Authors note: I'm soo so soo sorry for not posting. Ik y'all are probably tired of me coming on here apologizing, but I am truly sorry. I had a tournament on Saturday, and have been gone all day today. I'm going to have practice all week next week and then I have another tournament. So sorry in advance if I don't post.

And one more quick thing. Ik this plot is sooo out of order. I've just been coming up with things to write as I go. So when I did the tulkun chapter ages ago, I didn't think I would do the missing Lo'ak chapter now. But just bare with me, because it will all make sense soon.

Love y'all! Keep reading!
