-Krista's POV-
I didn't like leaving Syn. Not at all. I continued running, the smell of salt becoming clearer. Oh god. You better not have died. I sighed and soon reached the dock, putting my hands on my knees and breathing heavily. I sighed and looked around. I don't think Syn really thought this through. There's no where to hide. I walked over to the side and sat down, my feet dangling over the edge. I hope Syn's okay... I-I can't lose anyone else....
-Syn's POV-
Shit. That was a lot more then I thought... I sighed and limped out of the house, my hands tightening around my axe. One of the zombies had grabbed me, causing me to fall and hurt my ankle.
Hopefully Krista's okay. I mean, she should be fine, but... I shook my head and started running. I winced and bit my lip at the pain in my ankle. Shit. I must have hurt it pretty-FUCK! I triped and fell, hurting my ankle even worse. I sat there for a moment, trying to gain enough energy to stand. I... I gotta get to Krista. Now.-Krista's POV-
It's been a while... I sighed and got up, walking up and down the dock. I turned around, pulling out one of my knives and pointing it towards the forest. "S-Syn?" I jumped back and gasped as a zombie came stumbling out. I... What can I do? I... I can't kill it....-Syn's POV-
Keep running. Keep running. You can do this. I stared straight ahead, waiting for the dock to appear in front of me. You can get to Krista.
I let out a small laugh as I saw the dock come into view. I stopped as soon as I saw the ocean smiling widly. "AHHH!!!" I turned towards the scream in shock. "Krista!" I ran towards the end of the dock. Krista was standing there, a zombie slowly approaching.
"Syn!" she stared at me with a mixture of relief and fear. "Krista! Kill it!" I shouted and she stared at it in horror. She put her head down, her hair spilling over her face. She said something then, but I couldn't hear her. I turned down the dock, swinging my axe up and cutting it's head off.
Krista stared at me in shock. I smiled, "What?" she continued to gape at me and I rolled my eyes, "Don't act too surprised." she smiled and a few tears rolled down her cheeks. "I... I thought you were dead," I smiled and put my hand on her shoulder, "You can't lose me that easily, bitch."
