Chapter 17

Hey, I'm sorry that I haven't updated 😭 in a while I've been lazy but I'm back....

Rain finally made it back to Payu's house after his conversation with Ple.

he was relieved that she didn't hate him for suddenly confessing that he actually likes Payu and just used her as a distraction even though Rain still felt guilty for what he did to her but Rain was happy that they agreed to stay as friends.

"So how did it go?" Rain felt a pair of arms wrapped around his waist "It turned out great me and Ple agreed to stay on good terms"

Rain went on to explain the rest of his and Ple's conversation to Payu who was wrapping himself around Rain like a koala hugging onto a tree.

"I'm glad to hear that you guys end on a positive note...it's getting late I'm heading off to bed," Payu said as he let go of Rain and walked towards the bedroom

It was a Monday, which meant that Rain had school. Rain Dredd going to school because he'd
fallen behind on his schoolwork from all the drama that happened between him, Ple, Anong, and Payu.

Rain still didn't know anything about Anong's and Payu's "relationship" like how it started or how it ended. It wasn't till his last class that Rain received a message from Anong.

Anong - Hey can we meet up after school? I wanna talk about some things.

Rain - sure of course send me the location of where you want to meet

Rain was curious now why did Anong message him out of the blue and what were the things she wanted to talk about?

It didn't take long for Rain to realize that the thing that Anong wanted to talk about was Payu. Anong has always intimidated Rain whether she was "dating" Payu or not Anong looked like an A-list celeb compared to Rain.

Classes had ended and Rain was headed to the cafe to meet Anong "Hey Rain!" Sky called out waving over to him "Wanna come over today? you've seemed distant recently"  Sky was right he had become distant Rain would cancel on Sky because he didn't want to go out and risk seeing Payu and Anong together.

"I'm busy today tomorrow I promise!"  Sky's face suddenly turned cold  "Of course you are," Sky said under his breath before walking away "Sky wait I-" Rain called after him but Sky ignored him and walked off.

"I thought you stood me up!" Anong joked Rain let off a small smile as he sat down in front of the woman.

"So what's up? Why did you suddenly want to see me?" Rain questioned knowing damn well that their conversation was gonna be about Payu.

"I think you know why we're meeting today." She said awkwardly Rain avoid looking at Anong to try to make it less awkward between the two.

a couple of minutes of silence followed before Anong broke it.

"Look I never attend to hurt you It was my Idea at first to fake date my dad was pushing me into dating his business partner's son"

Rain could tell that Anong was being honest with him because of the sound of her voice.

"And I've known Payu forever he's like a brother to me he is also not my type"

Rain took the bus home after his meeting with Anong. She offered him a ride home but Rain declined saying that he would take the bus home.

He still felt weird about the whole fake relationship thing between the two but he understood why Anong did it.

Rain looked out the window as he tried to collect his thoughts. Rain's phone vibrated he notices it was a message from Payu.

Payu - Where are you? I thought you were coming home after classes ended.

Rain couldn't help but smile at the message.

Rain - Sorry I had something come up I'm currently heading home!
