The diary of secrets ( A heejake ff )

8. Party time!

a week or two has passed since the... sleeping incident... the group of seven friends have started to become closer, leading to new memories. And maybe even relationships...

Jake is sitting on the outside benches with his two friends Jungwon and Sunoo. Sunoo busily typing on his phone as if, it'll explode if he types any slower. Jungwon is sitting to his left calmly staring into space, thinking about who knows what. while Jake, the oldest of the three, is thinking about something or rather, someone in particular. Jay. Nope not Heeseung this time. He thinks about how Jay has been recently nicer towards him. 

The most logical explanation would be is... he wants something, but the thing is. Jake doesn't know what. Now, he thinks back to the times Jay has been unusually nice to him in the past. The first time, it was because he had broken one of Jakes favourite toys when they were little. And the other time, was when he ate the last packet of ramen and didn't tell Jake. He remembers being furious with him, but soon cooled down after Jay promised to buy him 5 more packets.

He smiled slightly, reminiscing about the happy memories him and his brother shared when they were younger. "Hey Jaaake" Sunoo says, waving his hand in front of the latter's face. Jake snaps back into reality, and swats Sunoo's hand away.  "Owww that hurt y'know" Sunoo pouted while rubbing the back of his palm. "Sorry" is all Jake could say. "You scared me, so it was only my natural instinct to punch or hit whatever was, or is, in my way" he shrugs, smirking slightly.

Sunoo rolls his eyes sassily, before continuing to speak. "Anyways, Niki wants to know if your both down for a party next week at his parents house." Sunoo smiles. " How did he get permission to throw a party from his parents on a school night?, " Jungwon questions, raising an eyebrow. "His parents are on a business trip for the week so it'll be just him" Sunoo relpies. "Jungwon frowns.

" Oh c'monnn it'll be fun! " Sunoo whines, shaking Jungwon' arm vigorously.  "Aaah stop shaking my arm, or I'll only be left with one of then if you keep carrying on!" Jungwon says, trying to release from Sunoo's abnormally strong grip. Reluctantly, Sunoo releases him arm. 

He then turns to Jake, who has just zoned out once again. "So Jake," Sunoo says smiling the brightest he ever has. " My Best, best, best, friend that I love in the whole entire wor-" "I don't know Sunoo" Jake cuts him off. "Why nottt" Sunoo pouts, crossing his arms in a huff. "It seems risky," continues Jake. "How is it risky?!" Sunoo replied in a confused matter. "Most of the people there will be over the age of eighteen, so it's not that bad. ( just to say the legal age you become an adult, and are able to drink, in the UK is 18 so I'm setting it off that )

Jake thinks. Sunoo is right about that part. Most of the people will probably be over the age of eighteen. He reminds himself they aren't kids anymore and there all soon-to-be adults. maybe a party just to let loose won't be so bad right?...

Jake sits on the edge of his bed, fiddling with the cuff of his jumper while Sunoo looks through his fucked up wardrobe. "You have such a nice style!" Sunoo yells from the inside of his walk in wardrobe. "Shame you don't put in any effort when wearing your clothes though.." He murmurs after. "I heard that!" Jake calls from the bed. Inside Jake knows his friend isn't wrong. he just doesn't see the point. Dressing up, acting all nice and cool to impress someone... Maybe it would be good to put an effort in now and again...

"Who exactly is going to the party Sunoo?" Jungwon asks, walking from the bathroom. "I think the others, a few of Niki's old friends from Japan, and just anyone from the uni if I'm not mistaken." Sunoo relpies. "that's a lot of people" Jake thinks. He's never really been a big fan of crowds and all that but he might as well give it a go. "So, what are you guys wearing?" Jake asks the other two in the room, glancing to the suitcases on the floor. His two friends has stayed over for the night. It makes it easier for them all to go, if they all go together. 

"A white collared shirt, with a red jumper over that, and some ripped-ish blue jeans." Sunoo calls from the wardrobe. "A light blue hoodie with jeans" Jungwon says. "Hey Jake!" Sunoo yells. "Yeah?" he calls back. "I think I've found the perfect outfit."

To put it lightly, Jake is lost. Its been 10 minutes and he still can't find his friends. he opens his phone and starts to text on the group chat.

puppy dog 🐕: guys where are you guysss. I'm scaredd

baby fox 🌞: More like where are you?!?!

Kitty cat 😼: Yeah, we've been looking for you for ages now

puppy dog 🐕: Your both together??

kitty cat 😼: Yeah now hurry up we're in Niki's room

puppy dog 🐕: Which ones thattt

Kitty cat 😼: It's on the third floor, and the fifth door to your left

baby fox 🌞: Now hurry up we're about to play a game!!

puppy dog 🐕: ok ok I'm coming give me like five minutes

Jake puts his phone back in his back pocket and starts his long journey to Niki's room. "Damn why does this house have so many stairs?!" he thinks, finally making it to the third floor. once he reaches the door, he knocks before entering. "Who is it?" he hears someone call from the inside. "It's Jake cam I come in?" he answers. "Duh, now get in here, we're about to start!" the voice replies, and Jake enters.

He sees all his friends sitting in a circle, soon noticing one unfamiliar face. "Hi jake! this is taki, my friend from japan!" Niki smiles, gesturing to sit between him and Sunoo. Jakes smiles at taki, while the other waves. "What are you playing?" he asks taking a seat. "Truth or shot" Niki says smiling deviously. "Aren't three of us underaged?" Jake questions, raising an eyebrow. 

"Well, it's not the first time I've drank so I'll be fine" he says. "If you say so..." Jake mumbles. "Ok so we'll spin the bottle, and whoever it lands on will pick a question from the hat," Niki says while pointing to the hat at the side. "If you don't want to answer the question, take a shot. But if your willing to answer the question then by all means do, we want to hear you spill your guts out during this game." he continues "Everyone understand?" he asks. Everyone nods their heads yes. 

Niki reaches for the bottle, about to spin it. "You all ready?" He says. "As ready as I'll ever be!" Sunghoon says from the other side of the circle. 

And so bottle is spun...
